I don’t workout as often as I should but all my experiences at this gym have been great. It’s more of a private club type of gym and they have quite a bit of equipment choices for those who like do to do a complete workout. Bathrooms and personal spaces are always kept clean. Both owners are kind people and quick to help if you have a question or need guidance on how something works. I highly recommend this gym if you are in the downtown winter haven area. Thanks for reading, Ms B

The best kept secret of fitness in Winter Haven. An incredible range of machines, no crowds (it’s almost always quiet), great location, naturally lit by the downtown windows. You seriously will not find a smaller gym with this range of machines. Chris has the most chest machines I’ve actually ever seen in one place. I started my fitness journey when Laws was originally Honor Gym, and it feels great to be back!!

Went to this gym for about a year and the owner is the biggest red flag I’ve ever encountered. Dude clearly hadn’t gotten over the ‘roid use. Clear sense of entitlement and anger issues. Won’t go any further.

The gym itself is decent, could use a bit of work but overall decent. The owner on the other hand is meh, he charges $10 to bring a guest in PER DAY, the first day i signed up, i came in & worked out with another person for about 2 hours & he saw us working out together, a few weeks go by & all of a sudden it’s $10 a week. later on switching it up to $10 for a single day. you’d think when you’re paying $35 a month you’d be able to bring someone with you. basically, don’t waste your money coming here, the gym is overpriced, & the gym is missing some essential machines.

We are a few weeks into our membership, and so far, we love it! Everyone has been super nice and helpful. Plenty of parking and machines/ equipment to go around. They offer one on one training for extra $, but they have a class that is open to all membership. Fair prices compared to other places. Highly recommend!

My wife and I workout here. Its not your huge chain gym with 1000 people in it, and theres no massage chairs and tanning beds. It's all weights and machines, exactly what you need. And thats why we love it. Clean and not too busy. Great location for us in Downtown Winter Haven.

This gym is great. The owner Chris is a great trainer . He works with my husband, a stroke survivor , and has helped accomplish so many things that we never thought would be possible. I highly recommend the gym and trainer.. Another plusThe gym is always neat and clean with plenty of machines. Thank you again Chris and LawsofFiness for helping us accomplish so many things my husband never thought he would be able to accomplish again.

I’m a high functioning autistic individual that needed a small quiet place to go to train after several family members health issues. I signed up but was forced out just at 2 weeks in. I followed all the rules and everything and even really kept to myself. I tried to talk with Chris Law (owner) a few times but was quickly left beside myself as he seemed disinterested to talk to me and saw what I can only interpret as strong ego. Finally, during a lunch workout, he told me I was slamming or dropping weights at the end of my reps and told me I can’t hear it because I had my headphones on. I use headphones to block ambient noises due to sensitive hearing. Not wanting to argue, I stated this was noted but have never been informed of weight slamming or dropping ever. I’ve been in multiple competitions and even have done personal training myself so I’m very keen on weight dropping or slippage. I did neither but can only once more interpret the sound was the acoustics from a half smaller closed in area in which the sounds of high pitched frequencies bounces off instead of dampen from the walls and the noise wave frequencies are louder than they really are. I would notice Chris watch me randomly as I would train during my 2 week tenure. Ultimately, I was forced out after seeing his face angered at me from hearing his version off weight dropping or slamming and asked why he was being hostile towards me and what is going on here. I proceeded to tell him in an informative manner, he’s been standoffish and is unapproachable since I have been a patron or member. He continued to tell me this is boring and threatened to call 911 and cancel my membership all along proceeding to follow me to the door in which he then would come in close proximity at the door as I was telling his client if this is how he treats me he should find another trainer or gym in which I felt the client needed to be aware of his surroundings.

Great Gym! Laws of Fitness has everything you need right downtown, is convenient and safe. We’ve been members for several years now and have reaped the benefits. We work out regularly and utilize the training staff as well. The owner is the most approachable guy I know. Great job guys 👍🏻 …
