May 2021 Update: Still going strong and loving it! I recently completed my 1,000th class this year and am so so happy that the studio offered virtual classes through the pandemic (it was the only thing keeping me going!). There have also been a few new teachers who joined this year and I really enjoy taking their classes!Spring 2020: Pure barre is the only workout that I have been able to stick with for a long period of time. I've been attending since 2014 and I love it! The moves are always changing and the instructors are great!

Absolutely hooked on Pure Barre after years of doing the same old thing in a gym. Awesome instructors that are high energy and focus on each individual. I am always sore (in a good way), and super motivated to return each week!

Excellent full body workout. I've been attending class for a little over a year now. Brought a friend with me to class last night. Her first time reminded me of my first time. It's confusing at first and transitions happen quickly. Best advice.....listen closely to the instructor (they'll tell you how to do everything) and stick with it. While no two classes are ever the same, there is a pattern to Pure Barre. You'll pick it up quickly if you attend regularly. No matter your age or fitness level, you can do Pure Barre and get a great workout.Two years 1000 classes later.....I still love it. First workout that has continued to challenge me every day. The instructors continue to push you to get stronger. #pbobingoNow 1500 classes in...it remains my all time favorite workoutNow 2174 classes later, I still love the workout. Thank heaven for Pure Barre always but especially during the last year. During the lockdown, the studio offered live stream classes that saved my sanity!!! Then started parking lot pop ups when the weather turned nice!!! So happy to be back in the studio and see all my friends at the barre!!!

I have been taking classes at Pure Barre Okemos for almost six months now and I am completely addicted! Pure Barre classes are by far the best exercise regimen that I have ever tried. It is difficult at first. However, after only 5 or 6 classes, I started to improve. After a month, I noticed considerable results in my abilities and appearance. I never thought I would be so flexible and strong! The instructors are all incredibly supportive, knowledgeable and friendly. No one who sticks with Pure Barre regrets it!!!

Pure Barre is theeeeeee BEST total body workout!! You work each area of you body during each class. No class is ever the same and there are a few formats to choose from! The teachers have so much energy and are so encouraging! I recommended this workout for beginners too. All welcome here and they make you feel that way too :) Enjoy!

I've been working out at Pure Barre for 8+ years. I started when I was in my early 50's and I turned 60 4 months ago. I feel stronger and healthier than I felt when I was in my 20's! Pure Barre is a full body workout that results in major core strength. It has improved my ability to do other sports such as biking, hiking, water skiing and snow skiing due to a stronger body and more stamina. I've met many new people at Pure Barre and it's fun to see everyone during class. If you're looking for a challenging, but achievable, workout, I highly recommend Pure Barre!

I love Pure Barre! All of the teachers are so positive and they make the class fly by, even when your legs are shaking!! I recommend this to anyone looking to strengthen and tone their body while getting their heart rate up. The instructors will help you with the form and make you feel comfortable in class!

Pure Barre is amazing! The staff, instructors and facility are all top-notch! There is something for everyone and you go at your own pace. The routines are creative and really challenge the body and are designed for you to get maximum benefits without being difficult. It only takes a class or 2 to really catch on and you’re hooked. I just started a few weeks ago for fitness, fun and to rehab an injured hip and I’m already feeling improvements, increased strength and I’ve even made some new friends! I cannot say enough great things about Pure Barre; it’s a must do for a new you!
