Pre-COVID I went to my first class and feel in love with the workouts and community. Nearly 300 classes later and I’m more in love with the workouts and strong community of amazing instructors and fellow barre babes. I can say with 100% confidence that this place can change your life. I have never felt more accepted and supported, and everyone and every body is accepted and empowered. Post-COVID there were virtual classes, including local, live classes with zoom groups formed for connection and accountability. Once the studio opened back up I was amazed at the cleanliness and focus on safety. I can’t say it’s my favorite thing to workout with a mask on, but the safety measures taken and upgraded air filtration systems alone made me keep coming back every chance I had with full confidence that the extra laundry needed for my masks well worth it.

I joined TBC East Lansing in 2019 and can't say enough great things! The studio is so welcoming and all staff/instructors go out of their way to give every client the best experience possible. If you're new to the area or just looking for a new gym... TBC EL is a must!

The only fitness routine I have been able to consistently stick to! Multiple formats ranging from low to high impact, HIIT to strength training to restore. Besides the great workouts, the real reason to stick around is for the amazing community! The instructors, staff, and other attendees make it all worth it.

TBC East Lansing is an amazing facility with even better staff and instructors! I have been a member since they opened and I cannot recommend it enough. Throughout the pandemic they were constantly updating clients and making sure we knew the process. They also have gone above and beyond to keep things clean and safe for classes to continue. The owner, Michelle, has built a community of women who are SO welcoming and encouraging, I would recommend TBC EL to anyone! 7 out of 5 stars, you won’t regret taking a class at TBC EL!

The most welcoming community! The Barre Code East Lansing offers a range of different class formats that work for whatever your fitness level / ability level is at any given time. The studio is super clean and the instructors are energetic, encouraging and patient. They offer discounts for students, MSU employees, State of Michigan employees, teachers, nurses, and military. Such an uplifting collective with a focus on empowerment, self-love and growing stronger mentally and physically.

Such an amazing community of instructors and clients to participate in group fitness with! Love the variety of class formats and times, the outdoor classes, holiday classes, and just all the feels I get whenever I spend 50 minutes on myself at the Barre Code East Lansing! Also I have loved the livestream options and national livestream options during the COVID pandemic! So thankful for Barre Code Nation!

I couldn't be happier to be a member of The Barre Code - East Lansing. Each class I'm greeted with a warm welcome with staff that take the time to get to know you and remember things about you. The variety of classes keeps me coming back and I so appreciate the lengths they went through during the pandemic to keep the positive vibes and mental and physical health strong.

I have loved coming to The Barre Code. I started initially with the mindset that I would try a new style of classes and 5 months later am still loving classes, how I feel, and the positive community of women. All the instructors are awesome- I especially love Brawl classes with Imani and Barre classes with Breighan!

I LOVE The Barre Code! Nothing has made me feel stronger faster than their classes. I’ve suffered with low back issues on and off most of my adult life but all the emphasis on core strength has really helped and I haven’t had a bad episode since I started classes there (more that a year ago)!!I’m so thankful I found them and love how supportive and affirming the studio is!! The transition to livestream classes during the pandemic has been great as well! Check TBC out—I think you’ll love it!!
