BLUSH Boot Camp

I joined their 12 week promotion and had a medical emergency 1 week in. I had 2 surgeries and medical documentation and they would not pause the promotion so I could use it. They would lose nothing by doing this. Business comes first. Clients come second. :-(

The response from this business explains why I would not recommend Blush. The automatic renewable policy is essential to talk about before you sign a contract. It's a contract, not an agreement;)

My only motivation to get up and get a workout in. Such awesome workouts, vibes, environment, and instructors! I have tried the Lees Summit location and love it. I tried sessions with both Missy and Shannon, they are both amazing! Thanks Blush!

I have never felt more connected to a "gym" in my life, the trainers are amazing and work with you to get the best results! I am a blusher for life and love these ladies that sweat next to me every day! This place has truly changed my life!!

I wouldn't recommend. Very shady when it comes to their promos. I specifically asked prior to signing up if I could work out at any of the blush bootcamps. I have a written approval that you can. Come to find out that you can only work out at other bootcamps 40% of the time and must work out at your home gym 60% of the time. Nowhere in the contract does it state this. Then they will just start drafting additional money from your bank account without your consent and when you call them out on it they will terminate your agreement without explanation. The app was also faulty and by the time it was back online you missed your chance to sign up for classes.

Joined blush 2 years ago, I paid for a membership. The owner Max needed someone to clean and in exchange I got a free membership for cleaning once a week. I cleaned for a year and a half and never had any complaints. I was extremely loyal to the company. 2 months ago I got an email saying he was letting all the Cleaning people go and getting a professional cleaning company to clean all locations due to him getting so busy. The email said effective immediately we would have to start paying again and recieved no notice, I had just cleaned the gym 3 days prior to this email. Being affected by covid and loosing my job I was not able to afford paying to go there anymore and told him I would have to cancel at this time. Without offering me a discount for being incredibly loyal to his company he cancelled my membership. I had received multiple emails and texts telling me the new cleaning company was awful and I had done so much better. I just found out the cleaning company lasted 3 weeks and he hired members to come back and clean again. I was told they weren't going to ask me back because I was no longer a paying member. The only reason I wasn't is because he screwed me over. He is very money hungry and selfish. Only cares about his needs and wants. The only reason that place is amazing is because of the head trainer Missy Wilt, she is the best and makes that place!!

Edited 5/26/21: I’m not removing my original review because a year ago this place really was pretty amazing, however, I no longer feel that way and *I want everyone who is considering a membership to go in with both eyes open before signing a contract.* The trainers are still great and the members make for a wonderfully supportive community. Unfortunately, the lack of professionalism from the ownership and the manner in which they conduct business is poor to say the least. If considering this gym, be cautious and trust your gut.Original review posted over a year ago: I never thought I would become such a big fan of a gym, nor would I actually enjoy group workouts, but Blush Boot Camp has DEFINITELY changed my thinking on that. The ladies at this gym provide such a welcoming and encouraging atmosphere. It makes me hate to miss a single day! And no two workouts are ever the same. It's always a fresh routine and a great mix of cardio and weights.The trainers are amazing, too, especially Missy Wilt. You can tell she is very passionate about her work there and has motivated me more than I thought would be possible. She puts together challenging workouts, but always has a modified activity ready if someone needs it. Plus she keeps a close eye on everyone to make sure we've got proper form and will encourage us to go with a heavier weight when it looks like we are ready.Blush is also a very family friendly place. They provide daycare during some sessions, but what's even more awesome are the "Lil Blushies" workout classes that they offer one Saturday per month. The different sessions are broken down by age groups and the routines are age appropriate. My daughter LOVES IT. And I love that she's seeing exercise as a fun activity at a young age.

I’ve belonged now since October 2020! I usually quit going after a few months. This place keeps you going! Much like a addiction! I have never been to a gym that is more welcoming, professional and just plain great. The staff is amazing! The workouts are challenging and you feel great afterwards. I honestly can’t see myself without Blush! Oh, and the clientele is just as amazing. I have never been anywhere where not only is the staff encouraging but so is the other members! Blusher for life! Keep on Blushing!!!

I love everything about Blush and I've only been going for a couple months! Being an all-women's gym, it takes any pressure away that might be there when working out around men. There's a children's room where your kids can play under supervision while you get an hour of much deserved mommy time! And lastly it's not like a regular gym where you go and may or may not know what you're doing or push yourself as hard as you should, there is an instructor at every class to ask questions and to push you to your full potential. I highly recommend giving Blush a try at the very least!

BLUSH is such a wonderful experience! The community is powerful and the instructors push you in such a positive way! I have struggled to find something that works for me and after finding BLUSH I finally have found a gym home!
