Premier Martial Arts South Lex

My Marcy just received her orange belt. I can’t even begin to describe how far she’s come mentally, emotionally, and confidently.I put her in karate due to low self esteem issues. (Those are a thing of the past now)I’ve waited this long to post a review because I’m very gun shy when it comes to endorsements. But Premier is the best. There’s no doubt about it.Not only is it incredibly affordable, but what you receive in return is categorically priceless.Mr. Ryan and Miss Lindsey have played such an important role in my daughter’s life in such a short time.Everything about the program is insanely thorough. Even the belt ceremonies are incredibly over the top (in a good way). Your kid will feel like an absolute superstar.If you are reading this and deciding if this is the best karate academy for your child, trust me. Do it. You will not regret it.

Over the past year our little girl Bella has gained so much confidence thru her martial arts classes at PMA southside Lexington. She has been driven so hard , taking extra time to train outside of her classes and her progress has paid off . Her instructors are first class , and I’m proud of the leader she is becoming . I would recommend to any other parent thinking of signing their child up for martial arts that PMA is the place to go.

Our son was so scared to try Martial Arts at first, but the staff there was so helpful in not only getting him the building, but participating with the class. It did take an extra class to get him to fully participate, but he has taken off since then! He loves going to class, practicing at home, and attending the parents night out events! I highly suggest Premier Martial Arts South Lex, it has been such an amazing experience for him!

Our son is taking classes at Premier Martial Arts and we have been extremely impressed with the quality of instruction and the welcoming atmosphere of the school. The instructors are all highly skilled and take the time to make sure that each student is understanding and progressing in their training. The classes are well-structured and cater to students of all levels. The facilities are also top-notch and well-maintained. I highly recommend Premier Martial Arts to anyone looking for a great place to learn martial arts and improve their fitness.

Our son has been attending Premier Martial arts for about 10mo now. He love it here, and really enjoys the instructors. The school is great at teaching relevant techniques and are great at doing it in a way that the kids enjoy. If you are thinking of placing your child/children in martial arts, or are considering it yourself, I would recommend seriously considering Premier Martial Arts!

Our daughter has been in Sensei Ryan's class for almost 2 months and we are loving it! She is learning valuable self-defense techniques that are taught from a practical and life-saving standpoint should someone ever attack her. She's 15, so we had the choice to put her in the teen class or basic adult class. We started in the teen class, but because she's so competitive and eager to be challenged, we are transitioning her to the basic adult class. (The program is the same, but she is practicing and sparring with mostly adults). The mix of martial arts practiced here is designed for the most effective defense in practical situations. Much more "martial" than "art" if that makes sense. 😆 Ryan welcomes spectators, so if you're ever curious, feel free to stop in and watch a class. Teens and basic adult classes are at 7:45 Mon-Thur (adults M/W, teens T/Th), while "middle kids" classes are held just prior. They also have a black belt division (adults) and classes for smaller children as well. The children's classes are tailored toward developing respect, confidence, and good focus habits as well as the defense maneuvers. You should definitely check this place out!

A Great Experience For My Son. Staff is so amazing and in so little time they became so familiar with all the kids. I Love it! My son sure enjoys it!!!

The whole team at PMA has been absolutely amazing. From the moment we came in for a mini lesson we were welcomed. Mr Ryan did everything in his power to involve even our shyest of boys. Everyone knows our sons name, and even after just a few short weeks it feels like a family. My son absolutely loves going, and I love that he’s learning and gaining strength while having fun. Thanks PMA!

The atmosphere is super positive and instructors are very well educated! This program has helped my son have a more positive outlook on his daily routine! Thankful for them.

Great instructors, organization and involvement for the kids. My two sons absolutely love this and can’t wait to come every week! They talk about it all the time and would go everyday if they could!
