The lady who gave me a massage- Kaylee* I believe (she has a toddler at home)- was absolutely amazing. Very patient and answered my questions, as I had several since it’s my first massage. I’d recommend her to everyone!!

I really enjoyed my massage. Cameron was excellent... she asked great questions and made me feel very comfortable. When it was done, I felt rejuvenated. The experience was top-notch. I will definitely be going back... love the location as well.

I have debated posting this review for a while. My review involves the owner Cynthia Hutchinson’s treatment of people in general.About a year ago, I showed up to Dudley Square to get coffee and study. There were no tables and no chairs available. A lady wearing a “Massage Center” uniform noticed me looking for a table, and instructed me to sit in the chairs outside the massage center. A sign was posted that stated, “chairs are for massage center guests only.” I hesitated, looking at the sign, and asked the lady, “are you sure?” She replied in the affirmative, and stated that The Massage Center had no appointments.I sat down and began studying. After ~10 minutes, Cynthia passed by and asked if I was visiting The Massage Center. I politely replied, “no,” and stated that a lady said it was okay for me to use the chairs, despite the signage. Cynthia asked the lady’s name, and I could only reply, “I did not see her nametag, but she had long brown hair, was wearing a mask, and a Massage Center uniform. Cynthia laughed, and stated, “well, I am the owner, and you’re going to have to move.” I was absolutely humiliated being treated as if I was less than human, as I packed my materials and quickly left Cynthia’s prized IKEA chair.Obviously, this has bothered me for quite some time, since I am sitting down to type this over a year later. I feel that Cynthia must have constructed a facade in which she treats her patrons far better than she treats people. I wish Cynthia the best, I don’t need an apology or anything— I’m sure she was just having a bad day. The only thing I want her to know is that small interactions leave lasting impressions.

Such a knowledgeable, talented, and professional group of people. All of the therapists are extensively trained in a bunch of different modalities. The reception staff receives massages from all of the therapist to best pair you with a person who can address your specific needs, whether that's a sedating relaxation massage or a healing therapeutic massage. I can't say enough about this place and it's practices. You deserve to experience The Massage Center.

Nice massage, wished could also do deep tissue, but doesn't.Also, on Groupon, it says "reg $90 for Swedish massage, 1 hour", which was given, and Groupon price was $59.00.However, when there, told me regular price for the hour was only $70.00. Groupon price was $59.00. So, only saving $11.00 in reality!!! Ask questions of establishment before you buy a groupon. May be advertising gimick. That's the whole reason for advertising, is to catch your eye and reel you in.I wonder if prices are inflated on Groupon to make you think you're getting a really great deal. This will make me think twice before buying another massage anywhere. Hard lesson learned.The massage was very nice, but I don't like the idea of Groupon putting prices out there that were not true.I

I had a wonderful experience at The Massage Center! Summer & Olivia were both very friendly and helpful in booking my appointment. My masseuse, Barb, was absolutely fantastic. She brought relaxation, strength and relief to every movement. She has a wealth of experience and clearly loves what she does. I’ll definitely be back - thanks Barb!

This has been my go-to massage mecca for so long that I am simply unable to write the number of years! I have watched this business grow and become the epitome of a business that takes the satisfaction and safety of the client and the team to be everything. The massage therapists I have seen here have always been professional and talented. The rooms have always been comfortable and well appointed. TMC has brought new therapy modalities to Lexington year after year while maintaining the core of great service and value. Highly recommend if you are looking for professional, exceptional massage!

I am so sorry that I forgot the name of the massage therapist who worked on me. I’m so bad with names. But, she was just awesome! She was friendly and had such a bright and positive vibe about her that added to the most wonderful massage I’ve ever had! I came in mostly just for some relaxation and self pampering which I unquestionably received. But I also mentioned stiffness in my neck and shoulder and I no longer feel all that. My body feels pretty amazing actually. If I lived in town I would be making regular appointments. I will definitely come here again whenever I’m back in town!!!

I have had a few massages here. I’ve had a different person every time and have loved them all. I always take a business card to get that person again, then I lose it. I know now though whoever I get will be fabulous. I always recommend to friends and family. Actually a friend recommended them to me. Word of mouth goes a long way!
