I have enjoyed working out at this location. Really close to home, clean, midnight staff is friendly and the gym has all the work out equipment I need

The staff is super nice and always friendly! The building and equipment is clean and is in a great location in my opinion.

planet fitness in garden City is nice and clean the bathroom was clean the stuff was great with members to check they in the manger was very nice this gym is cool there gym is so nesty in Redford sucks

My favorite planet fitness! Always clean and newer equipment. Staff is always nice and no wait on stand up tanning.

Everything you need to get fit, offered at a terrific price! They keep the locker rooms immaculate! Everyone is friendly and helpful. This is my gym!

It's funny when you get told you can't wear a weight vest in the same gym that I constantly see Indian guys wearing polos, dresspants and dress shoes/sandels to walk on a treadmill with. So glad my membership ran out because if I pre paid and they told me this nonsense. I mean they must only want negative gains to serve pizza and bagels but not allow a damn vest.

I work a consistent routine, daily lifting, and cardio. If you're considering a membership, here's the pros & cons. "Will you reach your goals?", the answer is yes, they have all of the equipment you need, along with your personal diet, and commitment, you're good. "Do they have amenities", not really, the membership is cheap (which I like), but I would happily pay more if they were to add steam rooms, and hot tubs. I have considered switching over to LA Fitness, but the thing that keeps me, is the location, PF IS EVERYWHERE!! No matter where I'm at, I can drop in for a quick workout, which is nice. From a business standpoint, I just can't understand why they wouldn't add these things, given how many locations they have, they could crush the competing gyms.

I have to say that my experience was horrendous and it had nothing to do with the great gym experience and equipment that planet fitness offers. This bad review is strictly on the disrespectful tone and insulting attitude that both of the workers there took with being a guest with someone else. I came in looking for my friend and was told that I cant be wondering around and that the member needed to come to the front desk before they let me in. I would have been okay with following any policy that's in place if it wasnt said so rudely and with no explanation as to why I couldn't find my friend. After a workout we wanted to go tanning so my friend the member signs up and we both walk back together towards the tanning bed area. After we are both inside the other girl comes banging on the door and yelling for me to get out, that I couldn't be in there, I tried to explain that we just thought we could split the time, but she continue berating and yelling over me telling me that I need to leave or sit down.At no point was a policy explained, or even a polite approach towards customer contact. They were rude, and had a attitude. She was seriously disrespectful specially when I was trying to comply right away but she continued to yell.I hope someone who can do something about these bad examples of workers will read this and do something about it.This place prides itself on being a judgement free zone but in the way of customer care it's seriously lacking to a point that it's seriously insulting and disrespectful.I've worked in customer service for over ten years and then patient care for 5 more and not once did I ever raised my voice or talked to a customer/patient in such a horrible manner or with such a tone. There ways of treating PEOPLE, these workers dont have it.The girls name CAITLYN and the guy would not give us his name but had long hair in a pony tail.

This Planet Fitness was recently converted from being a Kroger. It's pretty new as of June 2019. The equipment is newer than the other two locations nearby. It's clean, lots of cardio equipment, and a good array of free weights and nautilus machines. While this isn't the place for someone looking to pack on serious amounts of muscle it's a great place to work out and get or stay in shape.

Favorite staff, nice and clean , but cold showers, not warm but breath taking cold. Do not visit here if you need a shower after your workout. I am very disappointed as this is my closest PF, but I still drive to Wayne Dearborn and Bellville if I do any running because I don't like getting in the car with sweaty clothes. Alloother locations have hot showers. I have complained before but owner doesn't care
