After a year of sitting around at home during the pandemic, I’d put on some weight and was definitely starting to feel my age (I’m 51). Tried just going to the gym on my own but felt like I was just going through the motions so I decided to look into getting a trainer.Reached out Park East Fitness because it was close to home. They paired me up with Amit, who ended up being the complete opposite of the trainer I’d had 10 years ago at another gym. Instead of just pushing me through a formulaic workout, while shouting encouragement in my ear, Amit spent the first meeting testing my ability and flexibility, or in my case lack of flexibility.Based on that he crafted an exercise program that worked within my physical limits and focused on improving my range of motion as well as building muscle and losing weight. I can’t recommend Amit and Park east Fitness highly enough!
