I am so happy to have found Vero pilates! I’ve have been coming consistently for the past few months! Crystal does a great job at reaching out and getting all my classes booked and working around my crazy schedule! Everyone is always so friendly and welcoming, making every class fun! Not to mention All the instructors are fantastic! I rotate consistently between Kylie, Caylen and Andrea’s classes, each one of them does a great job at personalizing the class so you never repeat a class but it also allows me to continue to grow and get stronger! Thank you Vero team❤️

Vero Pilates is the absolute best Pilates studio in Long Beach. Not only is it super clean and beautiful, the staff is absolutely amazing! Andrea was welcoming and really made the workout feel personalized to me. It’s really rare to find an instructor that will correct your form and actually want you to see you do your best! I also love that the classes are small, it almost feels like a private session! The workouts are challenging and fulfilling mentally and physically. Truly the best Pilates class I've ever taken! I look forward to every single session. I'm hooked!

Buckle up- This is going to be a long one. When I began Pilates my mind and body were riddled with chronic pain and illness. I was severely depressed from life, overworking and not paying attention to my physical needs. I’m a hairstylist/salon owner and we’re not known to be kind to our bodies. I’d been suffering with chronic lower back, neck and shoulder pain from 20 years on the job. I’d been to chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists, acupuncture therapists and ultimately was put on pain medication when nothing worked. I was told I had degenerated disks and arthritis and there wasn’t much that could be done. Being 38 years old at the time- I wasn’t going to allow that to be my final truth. I’d been researching Pilaties for years and had a gut feeling that it would be helpful but was never in a financial position to be able to attend a class. They had a trial class to learn more so I went and to be honest, it was the hardest thing I’d ever done in my life. 😂 But… I felt better than I had in years after just one class.I wanted to go back!!!! I found out how much it costs, $500+ for 12 classes a month (with an increase each year). I discussed it with my partner and stressed how much it helped. We moved some money (and life) around so I could give it 6 months. If I felt better, we’d reassess and see what we could do to try to make it work for our budget.FF- it’s been a year so I’ve obviously been able to make it work this long. Woohoo! Sabine is my main instructor and she’s incredible. I feel like she knows what my body is capable of before I realize what I’m capable of. She encourages us to listen to our bodies but at the same time to push and strive for something more. However, I learn something new every time I take someone else’s class, so really- everyone is amazing. I’m doing stuff I never thought I’d be able to do and I have less pain than I’ve ever had.As I said before, I am also a small business owner in Long Beach and I know the ins and outs of business. It’s hard. It’s super expensive and inflation is real. I also feel like honest reviews are super important. Without feedback, we can’t grow. While I have a million “pros”, I do think there are some “cons” to be aware of: If you are a marginalized person (black, brown, queer, trans), you may feel a little out of sorts in a Pilates environment. However at Vero- I’ve never felt “othered”. They love me like family even though I don’t look like most people who do Pilates. I’m not white, not a dancer, I’m not thin or tall and I’m heavily tattooed.Next- the cost, while I believe in my whole heart, these amazing instructors deserve to be paid top-dollar because they are the BEST, I do think it could be helpful to have some kind of scholarship or lower-cost option for folks who aren’t able to afford this kind of exercise. I think as a whole, the Pilaties industry could gravely benefit finding ways to make this exercise a more equitable and diverse experience.Ending this, I want to impress upon anyone reading this that this studio is top-notch. It’s clean, it’s attentive and small, it’s personal and they vet their instructors well. I will continue my practice here as long as I can. Wishing you the best of luck on your Pilates journey.Stay healthy!

Great studio: expert trainers, accommodating staff, top-of-the-line equipment, convenient hours/class options and all around wonderful atmosphere. I've been coming to Vero's since January and I've become addicted, I can't start my morning without out. There are many great instructors but my favorite is Sabine. Her talent, experience, and passion make me push myself harder without worrying about pulling a muscle because I know she's watching and correcting my every move.

Vero Pilates is transformational! After having a baby I needed extra support to strengthen my body. Every teacher is incredible and highly knowledgeable. I take private lessons with Steven Zarzecki and I leave feeling like I got a massage once he's helped me stretch and strengthen my sore areas. Steven teaches me a ton about anatomy and is so perceptive to the most micro adjustments I need to make. We are both former dancers and he's incredible at helping me unlearn unhealthy habits from dance. Overall the customer experience at Vero is better than anywhere I've taken classes. It's easy to schedule classes and you can text your teachers. They follow strict COVID protocols and the studio is very clean. They also host community events, and it's a great place for meeting people.

What can I even begin to say about Vero Pilates! Finding this studio was one of the best things that has ever happened to me. From the very beginning I felt immediately welcomed by all…they treated me like I had been going for years!! I had the privilege of working with Sabine who truly TRULY changed my entire outlook on Pilates, and helped me grow more than any other type of “fitness” instructor I’ve ever had! Her ability to make even the most difficult of exercises a pleasant experience is unparalleled! There was never once where I didn’t leave her class with a smile and feeling my best!!! The way she, and the whole Vero team, genuinely care about their clients is something you don’t find in most studios and it’s once of the reasons I was immediately drawn to stay. While I was only attending Vero Pilates for a short amount of time, due to me moving away, I can honestly say, without a doubt, whether your just starting your pilates journey or have been doing it for years…Vero Pilates is the place you want to be.Thank you Vero Fam ❤️

Vero Pilates has helped me rediscover my body and what it is capable of. The classes are an hour to myself, where I get to focus on just me, and I get to have a moment a peace because the studio environment so calm. I’m writing this as the owner of Zenith Performance Physical Therapy and my experience and relationship with this studio. My experience with Vero Pilates has been nothing short of amazing. The owner, Veronica, the studio manager, Crystal, and all of the Pilates instructors have been so welcoming, professional, knowledgeable, and just all around good people. They all know how to meet you where you are at physically and mentally in your own personal health journey. Not only is the staff amazing, the members are wonderful as well. I’ve never felt so welcomed walking into an environment I’m not used to before. I look forward to continuing to work with Vero Pilates and their members. I highly recommend trying this studio out if you’re thinking about starting Pilates!

I’ve been taking Pilates at Vero for nine years... Several times per week. I think it’s safe to say I’m very happy there!! I’ve taken class, and done privates, with Sabine since day one. She’s seen me through a few surgeries and injuries including two hip replacements. She is so knowledgeable about Pilates and the human anatomy… I always feel safe with her. Over the course of the years I’ve had the opportunity to take class with other instructors as well. I’ve found them all to be caring, attentive and knowledgeable. Vero Pilates is my fun “home away from home”!
