Front desk girl visibly annoyed when inquiring about joining the gym & large groups of teenagers mishandling the equipment - would not recommend for more than a day pass

Cancellation policy is not conducive to keeping customers. Planning on moving and they are charging me a lot of fees.

Overall pretty standard gym and facilities are not bad. Unfortunately the gym is very crowded. Also cancelling your membership is a huge pain. I would highly recommend anyone signing up for a membership use a prepaid Visa card or similar.

They are refusing to release me from my contract until I jump through multiple hoops. A call, an email, and now weeks of emailing back and forth and they still won't cancel. DONT GIVE THEM YOUR ACCOUNT. They'll never let you go.

I found the gym perfectly adequate and used it regularly for two years. However, cancellation was a pain in the butt and in clear violation of Colorado's right of cancellation law. I am refusing to comply and they're threatening with collections. We shall see how this shakes out.

Machines and all gym equipment are always so clean. Definitely one of the better gyms I've been to.

Surprisingly decent equipment for a commercial gym, and for my USAPL or IPF Powerlifters in Longmont, they have a power bar, but no calibrated plates. Lots of machines to go around and quite a bit of space. Free weights, squat racks, benches, and deadlift platforms can be hard to grab at peak hours, but that comes with it being a commercial gym. Only other gripe is that I wish it was 24 hours, but if that’s the worst that I’m complaining about, it’s safe to say that I like this place a lot. Sauna is pretty good and overall the gym is kept in pretty decent shape. People there are pretty cool, and some pretty annoying, but that’s just a commercial gym thing as well. Right now it’s one of the best gyms in the immediate Longmont area.

I have recently joined Gold's gym and have been several times already. The staff is great and friendly, it's very clean and I have really enjoyed using the weight machines, cardio equipment and several different classes. The only reason I did not give it a 5-star is that I would have really liked to try a class or two before joining as it's been a long time since I have belonged to a gym. They do not give ANY guess passes for any reason. That seemed a little "un-friendly" for someone considering joining. And I would have liked to see some family package options. All that considered - I am a new and happy member.

Bike spin classes are not that good; music is almost always so loud you can’t hear instructor. Some classes are good, but again the instructors turn music up so loud it’s hard to hear. Lasso almost all the instructors use same music week after week, loud techno music.

Tried to get a day pass to check out the gym only to find out they charge $20 for a day pass which seems ridiculous. When I was the girl in the front desk if I could look around before I decide to pay for one work out, she was very rude. I will not be joining a gym that treats their potential customers like that. Do better. It's really not that hard to be kind and welcoming.
