This gym offers a sprawling yet effective and controlled variety of classes at various skill levels for various fitness goals. There is a class here for you whether you like Combat Sports, Cardio, Power lifting, or Performance Athlete training. Classes are typically only 30 minutes so it's extremely easy to fit them into your schedule as they are spread across the entire day and focused. There is no locker room, but there is a shower and towels available to members.

Warning: Somewhat extensive review.SLS Fitness was the first gym that I've signed up for that had classes all day long and was practically the primary feature of the gym.The gym was very clean and the bathrooms were never in disarray with each visit. When you first sign up you will undergo a fitness assessment that checks for range of motion, balance, height and weight, body fat, etc. My assessor was Nick and he provided very useful tips for certain areas my range of motion was weak in.The instructors are fairly attentive and keep an eye on you to make sure that you attempt all exercises safely. Classes I have tried out were: Yoga, Boxing, Metabolic, Spin, Advanced MMA (Jiu-Jitsu), and Recovery.Shawn De-Paul and Larry Koontz do an excellent job teaching boxing fundamentals. The cardio boxing classes will always leave you a little exhausted but rewarded for the hard work put in (as long as you work hard). For Metabolic and Recovery I have taken the class with Alessio Angiolilli and the metabolic classes can be challenging and for recovery he has fun conversations with the members as everyone is winding down from working hard for the week. For Jiu-Jitsu be careful and wear mma shorts.I've tried a few personal training sessions. When setting up for one it seems that you are handed a personal trainer at random. Whether you can request for a different one I have not attempted. The price brackets are a bit rigid and do not offer much flexibility for a member to break down and control the sessions to their liking. If you're a pretty motivated person and know how to organize your own training, then personal training may not be for you.Regarding the health bar (I call it the health bar), during the weekday it provides a wide variety of shakes and other meals in the refrigerator. I'm not really sold on the shakes. They are a bit sweet for me and can be a little pricey. But, whoever that chef is that comes on the weekend and makes food is a godsend. She makes great healthy food and if you should see her (can't miss her uniform) I would highly recommend that you try her food. I often find myself being indecisive because there are a lot of good options there.Safety at the gym is good.Sheeri runs the establishment well and I hope that SLS Fitness continues to grow and expand because there is a lot to offer at this gym.

Great classes and friendly staff, would highly recommend. The short classes make it flexible for anyone's schedule. Just wish there was a water fountain so I could refill my own water bottle.
