Expensive food, but I get it. I'm sure it's an expensive facility to run.The Hispanic lady that manages this place really doesn't need to be working with the public though.Rude, dismissive and condescending, to the parents, coaches and kids....every time we're there for basketball or volleyball. Mean and hateful.

It’s hot with outrageous prices and when I bought $20 worth at concession the offered me a “tray” to carry everything which was only a Powerade box they asked for it back...really. We need trophies instead of metals with all the money they make.

As you walk in the door to this facility your bags are searched as if you're a suspected criminal and they are looking for weapons of mass destruction. What they actually look for, confiscate or make you throw away is any outside food or drinks, regardless if you're a player or just here to watch (snickers, m&m's and soda at the concession should keep the players hydrated and nourished through the day right?). They can't risk having you bring anything in and potentially decreasing profits on their concession stand with a limited and overpriced variety. After your bags are thoroughly searched, you must pay for entry which is also a little overpriced for this sub par facility.Once you are in the Building and have been searched and paid the entry fee and take your seat in the most uncomfortable benches ever, designed by a man who's sole intention was to make people suffer, you will see people circling the courts like Vultures looking for weakened prey. They are not circling the courts to ensure that you are comfortable or to resolve any issues you may have with the staff or facility, they are looking for degenerates who have violated their sacred "no outside food or drinks" policy and rest assured they will find you and make you dispose of anything you so deviously snuck past them at the door.On one occasion they had the fans going full speed when it was 28° outside, numerous players, parents and patrons complained about this to the staff who were rude and could not have cared less about anyone's comfort, saying they had to leave the fans on due to condensation build-up!?I think it would be a fantastic idea for all the team's to boycott this facility in hopes that the "new management" revises some of their assinine policies and educates the staff on common courtesy and respect for the players, parents and patrons who keep this facility running!

Worst experience time and time again. Staff are VERY rude, restrooms are in poor condition, concession is ridiculously expensive as they try to force spectators and players to purchase their food and drinks, flooring on the courts are loose, and the referees are both rude and condescending—makes for a horrible FAMILY experience and long day.The gate keepers are ridiculous! Apex gives new meaning to “Search and Seizure!" Coffee, water, granola bars, and fruit are treated like terroristic bombs. However, nachos, soft drinks and junk food are the facility’s cash cows. It’s too bad Lubbock and the surrounding areas don’t band together and boycott this facility and it’s mockery of Family-friendly fun!

Worse than getting on a plane... not really but close. Not allowed to bring any drink other than water. A player on my team was told he couldn't bring in a Gatorade bottle filled with water...ok... but wait, there are no water fountains!!! What??? A gym without a water fountain???!! That's right, kids have to drink from the bathroom sink if they had their drink taken away.Lights in foyer and outside doors are out and have been for a while. They claim that they go through the player's bags for "kids safety" and then let them walk out into a pitch black parking lot with pot holes and parking bumpers. It can't be safety they are after... Maybe they just want you to buy their food and drinks. The sad part is this: The courts are nice and goals are nice. This place could really be a place people enjoy taking their kids to. Instead, I'm reminded of the Dollar Shave Club commercials "It's almost like they don't want you buying their razor blades!" Yep

Hottest place in Lubbock. Literally they can't afford enough air conditioning to keep the place cool. They need donations to get more AC. It was better before the new owners. Premier owns it now. I guess they wanted to make this place as hot as the Premier facilities. I would give this place negative stars if it would let me.
