I tried a few gyms before coming here and this gym was hands down my top pick because it was the only one that truly helped me start from zero. This is an amazing gym! Sensei Papalegua is a great instructor who really knows how to work with his students of all levels to up their game. Whether you're looking to get back into Jiu Jitsu like I was or just starting out, I definitely recommend you check this place out. At minimum try out a few trial classes and see for yourself.

Fantastic gym. I have trained bjj for 8ish years at many gyms. This is a very good gym. Safe environment where technique is king. Prof. Is very technical and respectful.

This place is amazing! My daughter loves it and is learning so much. Papalegua and his family are so great and they have created a truly welcoming environment. If your kid is interested in learning self defense, please go here you will not regret it. Truly a great place and glad they have come to McKinney!

Very excited to see a Six Blades Academy coming to our side of Dallas! I have known Papalegua for many years and my son has been a student of his in the past. I train with him every chance I get. This will be some of the best instruction in Jiu Jitsu you can receive! Their kid's program is guaranteed to be great! This will be an amazing location!
