Deplorable customer service, mangers don't return messages, personal trainers don't show up and you are stuck out of money with no resolution. Use the gym but don't spend any additional money. Waste of timeUpon reading your reply, I will give you an update, I have left multiple messages over the past 2 weeks and have yet to receive a reply. The only recourse I was given was a generic email address that no one has responded to. After seeing your reply I called and was deflected again and still waiting for a reply. Again deplorable customer service

I don’t understand all the bad reviews. Their policy is told to you at sign up and even emailed to you. I really enjoy this gym. Unfortunately this is my last month because it’s a little to far for me now, (so I am on my last 30 days) I like the fact that I can walk in there workout unbothered and then leave. Plus their equipment is always available to use because they have such a big variety. I’ve been a member since late last year. Again this is my last month ,so I’ll update if there is any hiccups before I leave. So far I’m impressed!

I've been Looking for a gym to join for a couple weeks now and have been trying different ones out .I've heard good things about crunch plus it's in my budget. I was super excited to go yesterday and and take a class and check out the equipment. The only thing is if you have no idea how to work the machines or are new to working out you would have no clue because the staff just had us fill out our information We walked in, they pointed to the locker room pointing to the gym and that was that. Customer service definitely not their strong suit!! Other than that the gym was nice and the instructor for the class I took was great.. Unfortunately my boyfriend won't be coming back because hes the one that's very new to working out and was very dissatisfied with with the non existent help or guidance he got.. So you've lost 1 customer out of the 2 of us.

The monthly price is right, $10+/mo for the local gym. Has what should be an adequate number of exercise machines. Clean facility. My only BIG beef is some ( almost always younger) members spend more time sitting on (for example) the quad machine (one of 2) playing with their phone instead of exercising. Many of us have limited time to work out and would like to use the machine your on for 10 minutes looking at ur phone. NEED to be on that phone? Get up and plant ur arse on the chairs by the front counter.

Update 8/8/2022. The only reason why I have not switched gyms at this point is because Crunch is 1 mile from where I live and the cost of gas could potentially go back up. This Gym seems to be a lot more Employee centric than Customer Centric and most if not all of this is due to the Manager Tracey. Tracey has only really said bye to me twice since I've been working out there and I worked out there for 10 months there. A majority of the staff there don't even dignify me. They are just there gossiping with other staff members. Today when I went to take a shower, only one shower was working because the door was broke on one shower and there was no water coming out of the other to shower. A previous reviewer has made a valid point that " the lockers that are by the only bench are reserved for the staff." which further validates my point that this gym is way more employee centric than customer centric. They also have a Lexus that occupies the closest parking spot there and said Lexus belongs to a VENDOR not a customer. What also bothers me is that Tracey blocked the gym entrance today when talking to 2 other people. Is he trying to deter people from coming in to work out. He never says excuse me. I do not know how Tracey has become a manager there because when I'm there he displays absolutely no customer service or manners. If all of these Response from the owner in the reviews are from Tracey then I know that said responses are a joke.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!I called to cancel my membership, was told I need to come in or send a letter, I live 2+ hours away. I decided to take the drive. When I finally got there Marco told me I needed to pay an additional $34 to cancel because of the 30 day notice. I asked to speak with the GM BRIE. After waiting an extra 45 minutes BRIE was available. I have never been treated so poorly by anyone in customer service, especially a Manager. When asked questions such as “why do I need to pay extra” I was told “if you don’t like it you can get out”. I told her I never saw in the terms and conditions about the 30 day notice, she said “it’s not our fault you didn’t read the contract we gave you”. When I said other gyms don’t have cancellation fees to another employee Marco, I.e. Planet Fitness and LA Fitness, she raised her voice in front of customers and told me I was wrong. I asked her if she would tell her bosses about my concerns and how they should change their rules, BRIE’s response to that was “bye, drive safe” while walking towards me to get me out of the gym.When I got home, after the drive and spending $50+ in gas, I realized they also charged the $34 twice. I called and emailed corporate to no avail. GET BETTER MANAGERS.

Great gym, great staff, amazing trainers, and new and nice equipment.I can honestly say that this place and staff changed my life, I was pushing 300 lbs with medical conditions associated with that weight. The trainer Joe pushed me, inspired me, and the staff encouraged me. I've lost a 125 lbs and I'm now healthier than I ever was. Thank you all.

Pretty nice gym. Some equipment is kinda cheap, like the clips are horrible and the bars are pretty bad quality too. This gym is so busy, even after 7:30pm or later. They really should’ve made it bigger knowing how few decent gyms are in this area. Usually pretty clean and lots of cardio machines, even during busy times you can usually find a spot. Harder to find spots if you’re downstairs in the weightlifting section but definitely possible. If I could give one suggestion, please have your janitors stop cleaning cardio equipment that people are actively using! So often, I’m on a treadmill and a worker comes over and starts wiping down the machine I’m using. It’s very distracting and an unwanted invasion of personal space.Edit: After reading other reviews, I can also confirm that the staff here is hit or miss and the general manager is very unfriendly, bordering on rude. You’ll make eye contact with him and he’ll just stare at you, no “hi” or smile. Even when you see him consistently, I’ve been a member since they opened and come all the time. Seems kinda bizarre to have a manager be so unfriendly with customers. Some staff are awesome, others are teenagers/young adults who don’t take the job seriously and mirror the managers unfriendly attitude.

This is a really nice gym with great machines. Compared to when i first started till I left it became insanely crowded even in the early morning.The multiple squat racks are a bonus. The sauna however has been loaded with ants on multiple occasions as well as some lockers.

I’ve been to this gym on a few occasions and nearly everytime I’m disappointed . For starters , they don’t control people eating/having food and beverages in the locker rooms so they frequently have ants . They have a decent amount of equipment that seems to anlways be clean and when I go it’s never been too terribly busy , so I was willing to look past the bug issue .However , the associate Lexi is always rude and disrespectful . She usually doesn’t acknowledge you when you walk in and if she does , it’s a blank stare and sometimes an eye roll . When you want to tan , you unfortunately have to engage in a conversation with her and it’s usually met with extreme attitude , as if you’re bothering her . this is especially the case when you can tell she’s playing on her cell phone , as then you’re really distracting her from something far more important than the gym members . Perhaps she only acts this way towards me , as she once offered me a free personal training session and then never showed with no explanation . I’ve never felt more uncomfortable being somewhere than when I’m in the gym and she is on shift . For this reason I’ve been mainly going to Planet Fitness , as I always feel welcomed and appreciated there . Please do better . If your staff is uninterested in the members or do not value your job , there are plenty of people in Melbourne needing one .
