Fitness Therapy Studio

As an active senior "snowbird" looking for a place to do strength training and improve posture, I hit the jackpot when I found this studio! Every session is personal training that pushes the individual to reach their maximum effort. This is not the boring "3 sets of 12 reps". Every session consists of several exercises, each designed to reach fatigue in a very short period of time. I found this method sustains my interest and is more productive than other training methods. Christine and Michael are knowledgable and encouraging as well as very personable . Christine also introduced me to Gyrotonics which has been truly amazing!In a short time (2 months), I have seen a great improvement in my strength as well as a greater awareness of my physical self (posture, breathing, balance). I can't say enough!

I have been coming to Michael for a little over 2 years and i was in bad shape the first time i saw him. The knowledge that he as when it comes to massage and anatomy is like no other. He has taught me how the body works and has gotten me out of pain thru massage therapy. I am so grateful for his caring nature and his ability to help those in chronic pain. I have just started a new program with him on posture assessment and feel strongly that this will be the answer to becoming Pain Free!!!

I am a 76 year old woman whose had bilateral hip replacements. Before I started fitness therapy and therapeutic massage with Michael Slotin I had to lift my leg with my hand to get into my car and I couldn't get off the floor without pulling myself up holding on to the furniture. Now I swing my leg into my car without even thinking about it and I can get up off the floor under my own power. Michael Slotin is my go to pain reliever. In my first session he got rid of my vertigo, mid back trigger points and shoulder pain. In second session he got rid of my hip and knee pain. I will not go to any other massage therapist. He works miracles.

After struggling 4 months with whiplash and general old age stiffness I started training with Michael. First 2 days a week and then moved to 3 days. Michael Slotin gives the best massage on the planet! I have had chronic knee pain since a snow skiing accident when I broke my leg a few years ago and that pain is gone along with all my daily aches and pains . I go in weekly now because I feel so much better ! I also love his exercise and weight class ! Quick and to the point ! Michael Slotin has a plethora of medical knowledge and has helped me in every area of fitness and diet . I can’t recommend him enough !
