I’m a Gracie Barra student from San Clemente and was at Cape Canaveral for work. Alex and the Gracie Barra Rockledge team welcomed me like this was my home school. Gracie Barra sets the bar high and this school is an excellent choice if you want to learn Jiu Jitsu.

GB Rockledge would be my school if I lived nearby. However, St. Louis is a little to far to commute to class. I've attended many Jiu Jitsu schools across the US in my travels over the last few years and I can say Prof Alex is top notch. His skill, knowledge and love for Jiu Jitsu can be seen everytime he teaches a class. Amazing professor, Alex. Does amazing with the kids. Knows how to keep the attention to make class fun but also learn BJJ. They even get the parents involved once a month! You'll have so much fun that you'll want to join also!

GB Rockledge is a place where you meet Brazilian juijitsu and become lifelong friends. The curriculum is outstanding, from beginner to advanced classes, even the seasoned BJJ player will leave with new knowledge and experience every class they attend. The coaches are knowledgeable and professional. They push everyone to be their best version of themselves on and off the mat.

First time I heard about Gracie Barra Rockledge was during a community event against bullying. We love how professor Alex keeps the kids paying attention while teaching them very important skills. Super clean place, new mats, best jiu jitsu academy in the county taught by Brazilians.

Great school to learn BJJ at. The students are welcoming and Prof. Alex is a patient man that is willing to explain and breakdown down the sport into steps so that everyone can understand. Highly recommended if you plan on learning BJJ.

How do I start this review? First, what a great environment! My daughter was scared in her first class, by the end of the first class she had a smile on her face! Now she gets excited and tells me it's time to get ready to leave for Jiu-jitsu! Professor Alex is amazing with teaching her and the other kids! He is tough but patient and he stresses the fundamentals! Try hard, pay attention to detail, have fun and you will become better everyday! Gracie Barra Jiu-jitsu in Rockledge teaches my daughter confidence, dedication, determination and how to defend herself if she needs to. Lilly is awesome with her welcome nature, encouraging the kids, and helping them do the moves correctly that Professor Alex teaches them! I am beyond happy that my daughter has joined Gracie Barra Rockledge Jiu-jitsu! Definitely a family environment that builds our children up! I am a proud parent of a Gracie Barra Jiu-jitsu Student!
