Overall, The Mecca is a really good gym. They have a lot of nice pieces of equipment, and it is a clean facility. That said, there is always room for improvement.I feel that while they do have a lot of really good equipment, they have a couple redundant pieces, or a few pieces they could combine into a single amenity. This would create more room for new equipment they don't have. Some pieces of equipment I REALLY wish they had are1.) A plate-loaded incline chest press machine2.) A plate-loaded chest supported mid-row3.) A plate-loaded lat pullover machine4.) A better assisted pullup machine with more ROM5.) A back-extension machine.Other than bringing in some better/newer pieces of equipment, I'd like to see1.) The towels used to wipe down the equipment changed out more often2.) The resistance bands on a rack somewhere so members can get to them even when the front desk is closed3.) A better selection of cable row and pulldown handles out on a rack. Right now, because the majority of the handles are locked up behind the desk, some movements aren't able to be done unless you come in during business hours - if you come in after business hours and need a particular handle for a movement, you might be out-of-luck.4.) A better 45-degree hyperextention. The current one is difficult to use because it doesn't lock the ankles/feet in place, and it also doesn't have room for male genitalia.Still a really great gym, though. Hoping to see improvements in these areas though.

Love this gym, I’m 19 just starting my workout/fitness and health journey and I’ve never been more motivated to do so, until I switched to the Mecca. Crunch did me well buh Mecca is the road to where I want to go. Smells great , this is everyone’s one concern is the towels to wipe off equipment can be dirty and needs changed buh it’s part of the gym life. Recommend if you want to become the best version of yourself.

It's more of a club than gym. Everyone trains serious and with a high fitness IQ. You will train better just by the environment alone. This is my safe place. I love it.

By far, it is the best gym in the entire Boise area. Great equipment and awesome trainers.... this is where the serious fitness athletes go.

So, this is a nice gym. Well the people that go to the gym. As for the management. They ended our contract without talking to me first. They signed a contract and did not honor it. Just a heads up!

Definitely one of the best gyms I've been to, it has more free weight equipment than most gyms like multiple squat racks, benches, deadlift platforms and a green area for things like sled pulls. It has everything I ever needed, the only downsides are that it tends to be relatively busy, is a little pricy and I ended up needing to go somewhere a little more affordable and canceling my membership has been difficult. Still a great gym nonetheless.

Firstly, best gym equipment wise and the best coaching out there. Garrett has been coaching me for well over a year and helped me to get on stage for my first show. He is hands down the best coach at Mecca, and he cares about physical and mental health equally. Kaylia is a phenomenal coach and friend and was grateful to have her in my corner. The only issue I have is the HERDS of “influencers” recording, distracting and taking up unnecessary space. I understand getting lean is exciting and you want documentation of that, but please for love of god stop taking up 1/4 of the gym with camera crews and let people just work out.
