Barry's Miami Midtown offers high-intensity interval training (HIIT) classes in a clean, well-equipped studio located at The Shops at Midtown Miami. The facility features a mix of treadmill and weighted floor workouts, designed to challenge and motivate participants. The trainers, especially Gui and Nikki, receive high praise for their energy and motivational skills, while the Fuel Bar provides a variety of shakes to recharge after a tough session.

Despite the great workouts and atmosphere, a few reviews highlight issues with some staff members and class management. Parking can also be a challenge, and instances of rude behavior from specific instructors and the management diminish an otherwise excellent experience.

Pros:

  • Challenging and fun workouts.
  • Clean and organized studio.
  • High energy and motivational trainers.
  • Convenient location with nearby shopping and dining.
  • Friendly and helpful staff.
  • Well-maintained bathrooms and locker rooms.
  • Great shakes and supplements at the Fuel Bar.
  • Variety in workout routines.
  • Personalized attention and recognition during classes.

Cons:

  • Parking is difficult to find.
  • Some staff members can be rude.
  • Class management issues (spots given away if late).

One of the harder HIIT classes I've taken. Half the class is cardio (treadmill) while the other is strength training with free weights and bands. The cardio side kicks my butt to the point where I dread doing it (but thats how you know its …

Great studio with all the amenities you'd expect from Barry's. Central location with parking nearby. Changing rooms slightly small but the real gem here is the staff working at the studio reception. So helpful and friendly!

I enjoyed the aftermath of the workout. The actual workout was extremely hard. I kept it very low level to avoid injury. Wish they explained it a bit better. I didn’t know we’d be switching machines mid-workout with someone else (the classes are packed). I was a bit grossed out by this. People obviously sweat like crazy and I have to be here working out on a machine and mat someone just sweat all over. You get 10-30 seconds to switch twice a class so not enough to really clean. I will say: I like that the instructor said my name a few times during the workout makes me feel “seen” even though they probably had no idea who I was in the room of thirty lol. But overall I think I’ll go again with ClassPass I felt like it can transform my body.

This is not a gym; I repeat, this is not a gym. It is an amazing, well designed studio. The classes are guided by skilled trainers who create their own workouts from Barry’s daily theme. The workouts are intervals of cardio and strength training that utilizes the treadmill, hand weights, bands and your body weight. There's a fuel bar with all types of shakes for your post-workout. There's also pre-workout and post-workout supplements as well as energy drinks and water. Are there other amenities? Yes, but whoever decides to check Barry’s out can see them at that time.👍

Surprised to see so many negative reviews, luckily my experience here was very good. The workout is probably the best I ever had, front desk staff is friendly and Rachel is a great instructor, very motivating and has a good sense of humor. The studio is packed however everyone is respectful of personal space and all in all good energy. Its pricey but the quality is there.💪🏻👌🏻

Signed up for a Barry's class a year ago and fell in love with the place. It's a VERY clean and organized studio. The trainers are fantastic. Each class starts with a quick warm up, transitions to a tough interval workout and ends with a …

Everything about Barry's Midtown is first class! The staff are super helpful and friendly each and everyday. The bathrooms and locker rooms are very nice and well kept. The bar with all the shakes is fabulous and they have your shake ready for you when you are finished with your class. Highly recommend the chocolate and peanut butter shake. The two best things about Barry's is Gui and his workouts! I attended Barry's four different times in the week I was visiting in Miami and only attended Gui's classes so I can't say anything about the other instructors. Gui may be a little nuts but he wants nothing but to get the best out of you! He definitely wants to see you give 100% everyday, so don't walk (when you are suppose to run) or bring your phone to the class. Never a dull moment with Gui as your instructor but he is top notch! If I lived in Miami, I would be a regular at Barry's. Highly recommend!!

Great staff, great trainers, great showers, and super delicious smoothies! Huge shout out to Nikki! Her energy is amazing and her class is killer. I ran the fastest I have ever ran thanks to her. I highly recommend her class.

One word. Gui. Gui is an experience. Gui is wild. Gui is volatile. Gui is strict. Gui is insane. Gui is life. This location is famously associated with likely the best Barry's instructor on the face of the planet - Gui. Many say you never really know Gui, you just experience him. And at this Barry's, you'll experience the full force of Gui (and probably follow him on instagram afterwards).Like all Barry's, classes here are split between treadmill and weighted floor work. This location is especially awesome because it's close to lots of Midtown shopping and food plates (including Carrot Express - an insanely healthy option that is delicious). The workouts here are more strenuous than the Barry's in NYC. Gui is no joke and he'll push you hard. This is a bootcamp after all. At the end of it, you'll be happy you did. Just don't walk on his treadmills or stand to the side. Run at all costs, even if you have to fake it!Philosophers for thousands of years have debated the meaning of life. If you go to this Barry's, I think you'll get closer to figuring out. All thanks to Gui.

It really is the best workout in the world! The classes are hard so I always feel like I'm being challenged and I'm never bored because the workouts are always different. The trainers are all amazing but my 2 favorite are Nikki and Gui
