Good gym! Staff is really cool, never too busy, huge parking lot, not expensive, nice people but the older type. If you guys come to exercise, this is a good stop. A lot of people comeHere to record themselves thought. I think they need more machines for abs though.

Gym appears nice, but never had the chance to use it. Was working with a sales person before leaving on vacation and coordinated over email a date to stop by and sign up, and take advantage of the promos she had offered. Was even told she’d send us a link, but because the offer was too good, I’m assuming she couldn’t send said link. Returned and went to go sign up. This specific sales person not only is off on Saturdays (as stated) but Sundays too. Tried signing up with a sales rep on duty at the time, but when we showed him the email with the prices she had offered, you could see the look of frustration he had and was followed with a, “ya, she keeps doing this, so you’ll need to stop in and have her specifically coordinate those ‘offers’ with the owner. I don’t even know what she’s doing.”Next morning, we walk in and the first thing she says is “sorry guys, unfortunately I can’t offer the summer promotion. I tried scrolling through the thousands of emails to try and notify everyone, but must have missed you.” She continued to try and switch the story around and when confronted with details from the emails, she continued to deny everything. But…Her: “you guys can look forward to the fall special which will be exactly like the summer special!”Us: “what are those details?”Her: “I don’t know. I’ve only been in sales for 4 months, so I don’t know what the full details of the summer special were, but the fall will be almost the same as the summer.”Don’t be fooled by how nice the gym looks. Place is a hot mess.

I have a love-hate relationship with this gym.The Positives:1) Equipment: Without a doubt, this gym has some of the best equipment in Miami. Superior even to renowned names like Equinox, UFC, and Anatomy.2) Cleanliness: The place is reasonably clean. I would say it's perfectly clean, besides the toilets and showers. Showers often stink, and at busy times, there should be constantly maintenance staff.3) Location: Conveniently situated, making it easily accessible. The Negatives:1) Weight Plate Availability: There's a consistent shortage of 45 lbs plates. If you're working out between 5-9 pm, brace yourself for a hunt. Several machines lack these plates entirely.Check out my pictures. 8 machines, zero 45 plates. Similar issue you have with the cable towers. Everyone is constantly searching for short ropes (they have only 2 I believe) and Z-bars (they have only 2, one for thin and one for thick grip) as these are always taken!> Why not order more?2) Equipment Spacing: Some of the equipment is placed too closely together. Example, there are two squat racks positioned so closely that if one is in use, the adjacent one becomes almost inaccessible. Loading plates on some racks is a challenge due to this spacing issue.> Why not relocate equipment, so it's convenient to use?3) Maintenance Issues:* Numerous lockers in the men's section are broken.* The soap dispenser in shower 1 has been empty for over a week.* The sauna's on/off switch is broken.> Why not fix things?4) Staff Engagement: I concur with other reviewers who point out the staff's seeming indifference. I've reported issues in the past, but my concerns were largely ignored.I've reached out to Powerhouse via email five times and received no responses.Overall, It's a fantastic gym, but the management's apparent disinterest in maintaining equipment and the property is disappointing. Despite highlighting various issues (like broken lockers and missing plates), the response has been lukewarm, bordering on indifference. Their "whatever" attitude is palpable.I'll continue to train here, but I genuinely hope there's a change in leadership soon.

5 star for this gym hands down. Price on daily pass was lil outrages $32.00. Maybe they could offer discount for out of state guests. It could be nice if merchandise was offered in all sizes.Over all the gym was spectacular.

One of the best gyms I have been to in all of South Florida. Modern and luxurious equipment. Great sauna and clean atmosphere. The only thing that sucks is the water bottle station. It has a faulty sensor, terrible poor water pressure and randomly shuts off half way through. Be prepared to wait and stand there forever. Also be prepared for 2hr limit parking. If you spend more than 2+ hours at the gym, this may not be the location for you.

Signed up presale for my membership. Best decision I made. Front desk is very friendly. So many machines that you don’t have to wait for one. Parking is validated for up to two hours. Lockers are secured with a four digit pin. Clean showers and sauna. If you’re looking for a premium gym and don’t want to pay outrageous monthly fee, this is your gym.

Just a little bit of background. I am the type of person that won’t say anything if I receive the wrong order at a Starbucks, i say I’m sorry to bother you if I want to ask the waitress for extra ketchup, & honestly this is my first time ever leaving a review.I left equinox for this gym, the clientele assistance seemed great, everything looked fabulous until I signed my membership. The staff will put on a smile and treat you like they genuinely care about you in the beginning, but once you become a member it all goes downhill. I regret leaving equinox for this gym.Powerhouse is filled with wannabe instagram models, including the staff, there’s always a “there’s nothing we can do”, never a “sure, let me see what I can do to assist you”. I genuinely regret coming here. You can see right through the staff, they are not high caliber people, and as long as your problem doesn’t affect them, they truly don’t care.I was in the women’s locker room and a man appeared in the locker room cleaning it, I was extremely surprised. I approached the front desk about it, I even emailed powerhouse about their policy on the locker rooms but I have yet to hear a response.I promise you I am not the type of person to write a review, but damn I really regret coming here, & now I’m stuck because I signed a contract. The employees truly do not care at all about you, you can clearly tell all the staff including management is just there to get people to sign up and collect a check. No one that is employed by powerhouse cares about the gym itself and its clientele. You can easily spot who is genuinely caring about your experience and who’s not.If you care about the quality of your experience every day you go to the gym do not come here. I dread coming to this gym. I wish I could go back and not sign up.

Location is convenient Downtown Miami area, great equipment, the atmosphere is aesthetically pleasing, always clean, and the staff is great. I’ll give a solid 5 stars probably one of the best gyms in town right now.

This gym is absolutely amazing. Much better than the “luxury” gyms around downtown/Brickell/gables area at fraction of the price. It’s clean all sections (bathroom, equipment, class rooms, etc), substantial, equipment is modern and well kept, great hours of operations. The staff is extremely helpful. My only regret was not signing up sooner. Thanks Dayana for referring me.
