My husband and I recently popped unannounced into the Ace Boxing Club. We'd never been there before and were looking to record the sound of the bell for a song about Mohammad Ali that my husband wrote. We walked out feeling like family.Mr. Porter and the dozen or so boxing students (they all said this was only a few students, compared to most nights) treated us to a number of demonstrations of boxing, respect and enthusiastic loyalty to the club. Before we left, they got us both into the ring to partake in a round of greeting and handshakes between all present. We were incredibly moved. This is a vital organization in a hard neighborhood. Del, and now Frank Porter, have consistently helped at-risk young people five days a week for 60 years. If you can, please find a way to help support this phenomenally important non-profit, all volunteer organization.

This boxing organization is ran by an awesome coach named Mr.Porter. This club/ organization is the best boxing program to be apart of in Milwaukee Wisconsin because Mr.Porter is not only a great coach but he is also a great mentor to have in your life that you can talk to about anything. He has taught me a lot about boxing and personal health. He can do the same for you! Join today and better your life now! 💯🕉🇺🇸 Ace Boxing club baby!!!!!!! ✊🏾 🥊 🥊 🥊 ✊🏾 It’s better to sweat in the gym than to bleed in the streets! Mr. Porter!

This is a throw back to the days when a person could feel welcome and learn the art of boxing with respect for traditions and integrity. I boxed at a similar club in Detroit as a youth.I then came to Ace when I was in my mid 50s to train for an upcoming bout. I was warmly accepted and mad to feel a part of the club at all times. It is truly a special place.

I used to go there on and off when I was a kid long time ago, and Del Porter was a father figure to kids no matter what race color or anything he was a pillar of the community, kids had a place there to train and stay out of trouble, I remember his smile God bless him, I'm sure who ever is running the gym is continuing his legacy.

I have trained at other boxing gyms but when i came to ace the whole atmosphere and training was different. Ace boxing club truly is on a whole new level. They dont just focus on teaching people how to box but they focus on making those who come to their gym better champions in and out of the ring. Everyone who comes to that gym has either something to learn or something to teach to others. At ace there's a saying "dont change our program, let our program change you". They're beginners fundamental program is oustanding! Everything that I've learned has been supervised by my mentor Frank Porter and other skilled coaches that have been trained by one of the originals. The reason why I am writing this review is because I am leaving this date to go to California. I can't leave without given this organization my heartfelt a sincere thank you. everything that this organization and my mentor has taught me will be utilized the rest of my life no matter where I go. I will leave knowing that i will always be apart of the ace nation.

I found a place that I feel accepted. It keeps me away from street life. I would call it family and It prepares me for life skills in and out of the ring. I want to thank everyone for their love and support.
