Gold's Gym Milwaukee is thriving under its new management! They've added a bunch of great new equipment. Clean, welcoming, and buzzing with positive vibes - it's definitely worth checking out.

All the machines are old and broken. 99% of the treadmills don’t work or the belt slips. Little disappointed they haven’t updated the treadmills and or at the very least fixed them.

Been going to this gym for about 2 years now and I really enjoy the equipment. It really reminds me of the klotsche with the atmosphere and they have great equipment which is well maintained. Front desk people are always friendly and helpful, and maintenance (team? I only ever see one person) is always doing their best to improve the facility which is awesome to see. The only problem I have is that they're not really transparent about membership deals. I have a month to month membership and was looking to switch to a year to year contract, but because they don't really share what the deals will be for yearly contracts, and since it takes 30 days to fully cancel, it's hard to switch from monthly to yearly contract. Otherwise this place is pretty great in my opinion.Update: this used to be a rally nice gym, but you can tell management just doesn't care anymore. There's always broken machines and equipment. There's no maintenance done to make the gym feel like it's worth it at all because of the lack of care. I bet if you decide to break a mirror they won't fix it seeing how the broken equipment hasn't been touched or fixed in months.Update 2:New management has been taking care of the concerns and they’re doing their best to bring new equipment into the gym which has been nice. It also feels like they listen and validate the customers thoughts by improving the experience as well by being more friendly and creating a good atmosphere for everyone at all fitness level.

BEWARE!!!!!!! Worse experience of my life. Years ago I signed a year contract with a friend which we both paid up to $50 a month. Friend stopped coming and stopped paying. I was then charged for 2 people monthly. After numerous of times of complaining to management about it and nothing being done, I decided to cancel. Trying to cancel was the worse experience in my life. Was a fulltime college student and after they took over $100 out of my account, I could barely feed myself. One time I went into Golds and begged the manager to refund me for my friends portion and he threatened to call the police on me for harassment. I guess he wanted me to sit with a smile and talk to him friendly knowing that they are over charging me. I had to close my bank account. A year later I noticed my job check was very short, and I could not pay all of my rent on time. I find out that my paycheck was being garnished for up to $350 per check. I call the collection agency and they tell me I have an outstanding bill of $5200.00 from Golds fitness. All of my other bills fell behind due to this garnishment. Ended up being evicted because I could not keep up with my rent. Fell so behind I had to file bankruptcy just to get these people to leave me alone. Yes, bankruptcy at 25 years old. Golds Fitness was created by satan himself to terrorize people and destroy lives. It took me years to get my credit back together. Don’t do it. I’m telling you. Will be the worse decision of your life.

Update:After voicing my concerns and my disappointment, the general manager Jeff reached out to me and went above and beyond my expectations.Although there was a rough start, he definitely cared to improve my experience and also is looking to improve Golds Gym experience. I know that this gym is in capable and good hands if he continues to go in this direction. Looking forward in seeing his hard work!Upgraded to VIP to be told I-would not have a locker assigned to me and was never told. At the end of the day it’s nice to know I’ll be able to leave this gym sooner. Would not recommend coming here.
