Midwest Power Gym

I love this gym. As a female powerlifter, finding this space has meant a lot to me personally and really improved my workouts. Everyone is supportive and friendly, but they also mind their own business when it's time to mind your own business. In this gym, I don't have to deal with unwanted attention or advice from the old gym bro crowd. People in this gym are dedicated to the sport and take it seriously, and they take other athletes training alongside them seriously, regardless of gender. It's also great that I can avoid the bodybuilder crowd and there are not mirrors here. It's a powerlifting space. The equipment is new. The gym is clean. I love this place.

Amazing local powerlifting gym in the Bay View/Downtown Milwaukee area. Midwest Power has the best competition equipment in the area and the best community as well. Members are extremely friendly and helpful. Equipment is kept very clean.

Midwest Power Gym is a top notch training facility with an incredibly friendly atmosphere of people looking to help improve themselves and others. All the equipment is incredible and you the gym keeps getting better with the addition of a belt squat. The gym owner and patrons all treat the gym with respect a wonderful place for people who want to compete or just get stronger.

Midwest Power Gym is THE strength gym in Milwaukee. The different bars, racks, and weights are PRISTINE! And the options of chains, bands, grips, etc. let you switch things up. Another major perk is the fun and friendly community. Many of the lifters here are willing to give you a spot or advice, and in general are just some dope people. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced lifter, this place has exactly what you need (and some extras) for building strength and power.

I live in Hawaii and travel a lot for work but when I’m in Milwaukee, this is the gym I go to. It’s a smaller gym but they have great equipment especially for power lifters. The people who train there are great as well. All good and positive vibes every time I been there. I also love accessible it is because you can go into the gym by using a code and not having the staff to be there. For someone as busy as me, I just wanna get in and get out. Speaking of staff, I’ve had the opportunity of meeting the owner. He’s very professional and friendly. He’s also a competitive power lifter and knows his stuff! You can tell that he really thought about what was needed for powerlifters in the Milwaukee area. I believe people who run businesses should also be well in the know or have experience in the industry personally for themselves about the business they run and he is just that. I’m definitely coming back.

Midwest Power Gym is always a must go to!! The gym utilizes both kilogram and pound plates, as well combo racks and a plethora of dumbbells, accessory machines and a new Rogue belt squat machine! I’ve trained here for multiple years now and have had a great experience every single training session whether it be the positive environment, the people, or the equipment. If you’re looking for an elite level strength gym in the Milwaukee area then this is it.

If you’re a powerlifter and love an old school feel, you’ve got to go to Midwest. It’s got a great atmosphere and has everything a powerlifter needs. The atmosphere is great. The other people that lift there are awesome. If you get there at the right time and there are people there, it’s surely to be a great time. It’s mostly service for yourself after you pay online, but you have any questions, it’s more than likely to get answered in about 20-30 minutes. Highly recommend going here over a commercial gym if you’re a serious lifter. Not to mention that almost all the equipment is competition grade.

Awesome atmosphere

Great equipment and very clean. The people I met were friendly and as a member of the Marquette powerlifting team I'm looking forward to training there on all my breaks
