This gym is the worst. When COVID-19 started in March they closed the gym but they still charged me for the month of April?? I didn’t say anything because I thought they would open soon. Then in June they didn’t let anyone know that they would start charging our accounts again I made sure to put a stop payment because i didn’t want it to pay for a service I didn’t want anymore. I wanted to cancel my membership due to health issues but the manager said I couldn’t cancel my membership because i owed money for the month of June(the payment I put the stop payment for) he said I would have to pay that amount so I could cancel my membership but that they owed me for the month of April? Simple math you owe me but I owe you.... then we are even, right?I decided to ignore them but then ABC financial their financial partner kept harassing me saying I owed for the June, July, August, etc. and that if I didn’t pay them they would send me to collection. I tried talking to the manager again. He said that I should freeze my account until I’m able to pay because if I don’t they’ll keep adding everyone month to how much I owe. I was very clear and told him that I couldn’t and wouldn’t pay anything to a greedy corporate company who is willing to take advantage of locals especially after everything out community has been through. Don’t even get close to this gym what they are doing is illegal and unethical. I made sure to report them to the Better Business Bureau and I advise that others do the same. This is not the first time and I’m sure I’m not the last one to go through this ignorant process. I’ve given them two cancellation forms and they still don’t accept it until I pay off the amount owed which keeps adding up every month.

DO NOT GO HERE. They didn’t cancel my account, they just froze it, when I moved out of the country. Then they unfroze it during the pandemic, without notice or call or email or anything, and charged me $60/month without even trying to give me a key to use the place I was apparently paying for. This is a scam. Find literally any other gym.

Avoid at all costs. Shady management out to get every dollar possible from their customers. Dirty and small gyms. Lack of locations to store your belongings. Hardly available to answer the phone. Read your contract carefully and cancel it when you are done otherwise they will automatically enroll you in a month to month contract without informing you about it.

Take my word and don’t sign up at this gym. It is it difficult to communicate with the staff. Very understaffed and even when you do want to cancel, it took me 3 different attempts over 2 month span to actually get through to the staff. The last charge from this gym was ~$80. The best explanation I got was that the payment was denied and accepted the same day. I’ve had 3 anytime memberships in the past 5 yrs, never had a problem. Save ya time and go somewhere else! Planet fitness is like 20 bucks a month and there’s many local gyms that will beat this by a long shot! The new head employee was understanding though. Good luck 🙏💪

The management has been great when approached re billing issues. Likewise, the equipment is excellent and clean. Thus far, masking has been good. That said, since the gym cannot be staffed 24/7, it’s on us to keep each other safe. Appreciate this local gym.

The process to cancel our membership due to COVID has been horrendous. We were given no notification of when the gym was closed or reopened. We left multiple messages to cancel our membership and received no phone calls back. Once we received a response via email over a month later, the policy to cancel was terrible. We did not feel comfortable entering the gym with a pandemic and were given a form that had to be printed out and signed, which was extremely difficult to do in the middle of a pandemic. After our membership was cancelled, we were charged for an additional month and a biannual fee. The customer service does not exist here and they clearly have no concern for safety concerns of their customer. I am extremely disappointed and do not recommend joining this facility with the current management.

This used to be a well run neighborhood gym now it is owned by off site management who only seem to care about turning a profit. Their communication during the pandemic was absolutely terrible. When they reopened there was no communication of plans or billing, they simply started charging us again. They also continued to try and charge during the pandemic. When folks reached out we were only met with concerns on our needing to pay dues. Friends had the gym threaten to send them to collections. They also changed owners during the pandemic which was not communicated. They will try and get you to lock in months of membership or training and stop caring once you start paying. Lately people have not been following social distancing or mask mandates. If you’re looking for a workout put on those running shoes and run as far away from this gym as possible.
