I'm not typically a review writer, but the experience I've had so far warrants one for the Anytime Fitness in NE Minneapolis! I've been a member since November 2022 and primarily take advantage of the group training sessions. Facilities have always been clean and well-maintained during the 5-6x/week I'm there. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly, and it is great to have a gym where you feel a sense of community with the other members and with the staff. The coaches, Michael and Mo (with a shoutout to manager Ben's summer Saturday sessions!) are amazing, knowledgeable, and dedicated to each member they work with. They've really helped me understand the mechanics of many different exercises and the increases in overall strength I've gained working with them since joining has by far surpassed anything I have ever managed on my own! If you join and are considering personal training or the group sessions, I cannot recommend doing so enough!

This gym started out as a convenient and decently cheap option, but unfortunately you get what you play for. The bathrooms are horrid - there’s been bloody tissues on the ground and dirty toilet seats the last two times I’ve been there. Make sure you wipe down your machines before you start using them, because the patrons don’t nor have I have ever seen an employee doing it. They recently switched their cable TV options to Loop TV, which is basically a doctors office looping of different clips. It’s incredibly annoying when cost cuts impact the quality of the service you’re paying for.. Try not to come during a group fitness class or personal training session because a 1/3 of the gym gets cut off for your use. Overall, I want money to be better spent elsewhere. I would rather have a decent experience and drive a little further for it.Pros: employees seem nice.

I’m at anytime fitness NE right now. Every time I come here, I realize what a special place it is. It’s quiet, has great equipment, respectful mates doing their own thing and it’s mostly empty. While I like it this way, I also want enough people to come to make this a successful business. It’s a secret now but spread the word. A little.

I only live 400 ft from this location & despite having a pretty extensive gym in my home, I use this gym fairly regularly also. Great staff & very clean environment. Lots of free weights which is perfect for me. Shout out to Michael the trainer on-site … he’s always there & always busy … nice guy, knows his stuff.

I came in a few weeks ago and they got me signed up really easily, I decided to sign up for the 21 day challenge because it was cheaper than paying the new membership fees and they came included. The 21 day challenge (team training classes) with Michael are top notch. Totally catered to your needs and he takes good care in making sure you're performing the exercises correctly. The manager Noah is super personable and a friendly face to see every day as well. Amazing place to crush those calories!

Such a nice location. The staff are really great & there is such a nice community vibe. The team training is something I look forward to. Michael, the trainer, does a really great job challenging, supporting & teaching you. Its so exciting seeing progress and feeling stronger. So glad I took the leap & joined!

My husband and I joined this gym in August 2021 after we moved to this neighborhood - the sign up process was stress free compared to our experiences from other gyms in the twin cities. Noah is great to work with and is available to answer any questions like the sign up process, meal plans, the workouts etc... The 21 day challenge caught our attention so we decided to give it a try in December 2021 after 21 days, we committed to the program for 6 more months. If you are looking for a personal trainer but cannot afford it and/or looking for a team workout setting for motivation and accountability, this is the place. Mike does a great job with training and pushing you just right with each session. The apps that come with this program are great tools to track your progress and have made scheduling easy. The change in workout routine every month (4 weeks) keeps it interesting and fun while working on different muscles. The program really caters to any experience level (as a beginner myself) and yet challenges you from where you are.

This gym is amazing, everything is so bright and fresh. It’s a newer location so all of the equipment is really up to date. It is literal SQUAT RACK HEAVEN with 6+ racks. The showers and bathrooms are extremely clean. They have lockers and cubbies available for use. It is open 24/7 and a entry is granted via key fob. They have invested in a state of the art surveillance systems, which as a woman who works out by myself at odd hours it makes me feel really safe to know all of the security in place to protect me. Jay runs the place and he’s great! He is extremely accessible, personable, and friendly! There was no pressure for me to join, but an outpouring of support which was refreshing. Lots of great machines and workout options. Highly recommend joining if you’re looking for an inclusive workout space with dedicated staff who actually care about you, your health, and your progress.
