Karate America - Miramar

When I joined karate America it was for the kids. To help teach them self defense, who would have thought!!! I would be surprised at how much growth has come out of it. The team they have a process that works well, It’s a friendly environment that where everyone helps out if you don’t understand something they work with you until you understand. Since joining I’m sleeping better at night, There’s times I’m up before my alarm and I’ll try to get ready for the day, I’m careful of my eating. I have lost weight and still want to cut and shed more off. I’m more focused at work, my job is stressful overall, but after a long day or long week of working even when you don’t have any motivation. But once you arrive at the school you have a team to help you destress think with a clear mind. What I am trying to say is thank you for the encouragement, motivation. We are proud to be on this journey, for those who are thinking about joining try it out just don’t quit this team will help, motivate, encourage you no matter your weaknesses they are not here to put you down, they say no no, they pick you up. They see what is your one thing your good at and build around it and build you up. As long as you give your best sky is the limit for you. We welcome you with open arms but dedicate the time for it. “Slow is smooth” “smooth is fast”. To The entire team thank you.

I hesitated committing my then 5 year old to a regiment of discipline. I thought "he's not going to last". I was sooo wrong!! Almost a year later and "HE" begged us to register him for the leadership program. It's been the best decision we've made. He loves it and loves the staff! The staff is amazing, they are courteous, helpful, respectful, everything we want our son to be!

I couldn’t be happier at Karate America, Monarch Lakes. My son started when he was 3 1/2 years old and has grown so much throughout the program. I am extremely grateful to the team there and will forever be a part of this truly impactful community.I recommend any parent that wants to instill discipline, fitness and respect to invest in their child’s future through Karate America, Monarch Lakes. Everyone should know how to defend themselves and be confident and there is no better age than starting them young. My experience in Karate America at Monarch Lakes has been spectacular. Our family joined Karate America in 2020 when we enrolled our youngest child. From day one the staff has been very friendly and professional. We decided to include our older child, and Karate America gave us a bundle for the family, so I joined. I could have never thought in a million years that today I would be three months away from becoming a black belt. Karate America has helped me to believe in myself and to reinforce positive thinking in my life and my family. My children has grown in their confidence and martial arts skills as they are developing mental toughness and persevering. We are thrilled to have our kids enrolled there because they are learning core values and life skills that are so essential for life like respect, motivation, honesty, serving, and most of all self-defense. My health has also been improved ever since. I have lost over 45 pounds and I have felt so energized in my daily life. The to motivational strategies that I learned in Karate America have helped me in my own career and family as I have developed to be more enthusiastic towards others in the workplace, the community, and more than anything else my own children. For instance resilience is a motivational block that I feel the Warrior family has helped me to put in place in my life throughout this journey.Back in 2021 I got COVID, and right after got better, because Karate America found the way to continue their classes, I was able to come back stronger along with my attitude towards challenge. Today , my wife, our kids, and myself are proud to be part of the Warrior family of Karate America. The Karate America experience is one worth it to invest for no matter what skill level you may feel you are in martial arts. On day one I thought I could not handle one full class, today I not only do one class, but two in a row, and sometimes three. And that's because Karate America at Monarch Lakes has taught me to never give up even in my 40 plus years.Thank you Karate America for your continuous devotion in helping the community, and thank you for making us feel as family and for helping me to put in action your motto: every day and in every way, I get better and better.

My child is thriving here! With patience, consistent repetition and positive reinforcement, we have seen drastic improvement in terms of my son’s grades, discipline and focus. He is determined to do well and recognizes that he has some level of accountability to his Karate America - Monarch Lakes family. The staff is warm, welcoming and accommodating. Overall, they promote a family centric environment. We are so pleased with the work that Mr. Rey, Mr. Magadia, Ms. Leon and the team have done to ensure my child’s success.

When I started I was 11 years old and now I am a 13 year old with discipline and more respect towards people. This karate academy helped me live life to the fullest and be a better person to myself and to my peers, it also expanded my vocabulary. I am now on my way to blackbelt in October, it is teaching me to learn how to have a good mindset in life, how to never give up on my goals and how to push myself at my lowest. This academy changed me completely, the way I talk, act around people, and physically. It is an experience that will change your life. Thank you Master Rey, Mr. Magadia, Ms. Leon, and the entire staff of the academy for helping get where I am today.

This dojo is simply outstanding. The culture and environment they build is so amazing, and the training itself will make you both work your entire body out and learn proper martial arts techniques. On top of that the instructors and entire staff team are the best on the planet. I highly recommend this dojo to start your martial arts training journey.

Great value for the the family. We signed our kids up for the training and quickly saw the value in their training, both physical and morally. My wife and I have also joined the Tuesday and Thursday classes now and I'm on my way to being a black belt! 🥋⚔️Mr Rey and the leadership of our dojo do an excellent job always. The motivation to do better and be better is enough for me to do this over again. Highly recommended !!

My son has been going to Karate America in Monarch Lakes for about 2 years and I can’t sing their praises enough. All of the staff is so professional, experienced and generous with their knowledge and time. Their expertise is clear in the way they bridge the gap between physical and mental discipline. I love Mr. Rey’s teaching philosophy and he is so committed to the community and the upcoming generation. I’m thankful to have my son enrolled in this esteemed martial arts academy. My son started with Karate America at age 4. Two years later he’s well on his way to earning his black belt and is proud to be a part of the Karate America family. The instructors are phenomenal and demonstrate a passion for martial arts. In addition to karate, they instill discipline and respect in the children.
