I visit this location 6 days a week and sometimes 2 times a day.. I always see a club employee by the Name of R.C. if not mistaken always cleaning, assisting Club members and always keeping busy.. Wow! What a great employee that alot of people talk good about.. way to go management for hiring this man..

Very clean, staff very helpful and cheerful, not crowded at all, which made it fantastic and great prices. Highly recommended.

Urgent Concerns Regarding Safety and Harassment at Mission Planet GymI am a resident of McAllen and a member of Mission Planet Gym. I am writing to address some important concerns that I have encountered during my time at the gym.I made the decision to switch from my previous gym in McAllen to Mission Planet due to the gym’s reputation for cleanliness, an abundance of exercise equipment, and shorter waiting times. The gym’s 24-hour access, spacious facilities, and diverse range of workout machines greatly appealed to me. However, despite these advantages, I have serious concerns about working out at the gym after 7 pm.Since switching gyms in early January this year, my 15-year-old daughter and I have experienced harassment issues from male members at the gym. To provide my teenagers and myself with access to Mission Planet, I have invested in three black card memberships, and I don’t mind the 25-minute drive to the gym. I have brought the issue of harassment to the attention of the gym’s employees in the past, but unfortunately, the problem has persisted. This led me to discontinue my gym visits for several months.Recently, I decided to return to the gym with my daughter, and we have once again encountered harassment. This time, I was at the gym from 7 to 10 pm, and I felt extremely uncomfortable as I was followed from one workout station to another. It has become clear to me that the gym requires more than one staff member working at night and enhanced security measures. Typically, the individuals working during the nighttime shifts are recent high school graduates who may not possess the necessary experience or training to handle such situations effectively.Additionally, I wanted to bring to your attention that I have been followed from the gym’s parking lot on multiple occasions, even while driving home. I have had to resort to visiting local police stations to lose the individual pursuing me, which has added to the distress and anxiety of my gym experiences.I kindly request that you address these concerns promptly to ensure the safety and well-being of all members, especially during the evening hours. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

It's not bad, and clean compared to other planets' fitness. And has fair enough equipment to do your workout.

Clean gym but have waited several times by front desk for over 20min and nobody shows up to scan me in to use black card amenities. Pointless in paying for black card membership if I can never use it. Horrible !!On another occasion when someone was present they assigned me to a chair that was being used and instead of giving me another chair they wanted me to wait til they were finished. Shame because I think this facility has so much potential but service is what it lacks.

Great gym. I took advantage of their 1 dollar signup and 10 dollar a month plan about 3 weeks ago. I was not disappointed. They have plenty of NEW machines and I really like the 4 giant ceiling fans that keep the air circulating. Gym is very clean and very large. They have specialty areas like a quick workout and calisthenics area as well as free weights. The morning crowds are manageable and I have not had to wait for a machine so far. They are open 24/hrs a day so no more waiting at the front door at 5 AM. I have had memberships in other local gyms off and on since the early 1990's and this one is the best so far.

Got a tour of the planet fitness in this location and the person who gave me the tour was very helpful in showing me the different machines, the lockers, and he explained the different memberships to me and the prices he knew what he was talking about definitely signing for the planet fitness black card for sure this week

Place is clean, plenty of workout equipment, staff is nice and friendly. Membership is low pricedCan be upgraded to include massage area.Would recommend for everyone.

Went to my local Planet Fitness gym along with my parents. Alexia was very helpful and took the time to explain things and answer any questions that my parents had. She also took the time the give us a small tour of the facility and explained each of the areas around the gym. I’m really grateful of the help she provided us during our time there.

I’m glad there’s finally a planet fitness in mission. Love the new location and facility. Y’all are just missing the wall to hang keys. I been carrying mine machine to machine every single day I go. It’s kinda annoying because I’m scared I’m might leave them behind.
