I had a great class here when I was visiting from out of state! It was definitely a little more challenging than my normal gentle yoga but I never felt any pressure to overdo it or any judgement about my abilities. It was really fun to push myself a little bit. The instructor was very kind. I was really impressed with her ability to guide a large class so intuitively. They do have mats and towels for rent. I couldn’t find that info on the website so for anyone else traveling through, don’t worry about supplies!

A friend convinced me to try this class today. I was a little nervous. Thankfully, Glenn gave me a tour of the studio prior to the class. He also gave me tips and pointers to get the most out of the experience. The room was beautiful, ambient, and clean. Glenn was a wondeful instructor and explained each pose in a way I was able to understand, even as a first-timer. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and will be attending again in the future.

I felt welcome as a new member. And even though I haven't done yoga in years, I felt like I belonged.

I love coming to hot house! Yoga has completely transformed my life. It’s helped me manage my mental health, gain healthier perspectives in my relationships, be more mindful, and get amazing workout. My favorite class is the Ashtanga, but all the classes are great.

I love the instructors and culture of the studio. They make an effort to learn your name and make you feel welcome no matter your level. I never thought I would like hot yoga (I have this strong dislike of being around sweaty people), but you feel so good (strong, relaxed, centered) that nothing else matters.

Hot House Yoga is hands down the best studio in town. The community we have within hot house is amazing, we are a family. Jen, the owner would break her back bending over backwards to make sure EVERYONE within the studio feels safe and welcome and to keep harmony. This is a place to come for some serious peace and love. It’s truly my home away from home. I’m thankful every day for this studio and all the the people/teachers here. Truly one of a kind! ♥️

The physical space is nice, and I liked all the teachers I had during my five classes there. However, it's just too crowded. The staff should control the number of students they allow per class, particularly during "peak" times (i.e. weekends and weeknights). Signing up for classes in advance seems to mean nothing, as I've never seen their staff turn away a walk-in, no matter how stuffed the studio already is.I appreciate their spirit of inclusivity, but the last time I was there, the class had about 7-too-many students; I was legitimately concerned about evacuation should there have been a fire. To make room, I was gradually pushed all the way to the back corner: right in front of the dressing room door with a pole in front of me, my mat up against a wall on one side and another student within arm's reach on the other side. Add to that the 5 or 6 people who didn't want to stay for shavasana, and instead loudly collected their things, rolled up their mats and stomped between people to get out the door while the rest of us were trying to relax. (This was not the staff's fault, per se, but the teacher could've shushed these folks, or ensured before class that any newbies understood proper yoga etiquette.)I support the idea of "building a community" and "making space for others." I am generally good natured about accommodating a large class. I realize that in the winter time, everyone wants hot yoga! But I won't be back to Hot House until they create (and stick to) class size limits. $15 and the hassle of downtown parking is too much to spend on a class where you don't even have enough space to fully participate in the moves.

I had always wanted to try paddleboard yoga but was a little apprehensive. I'm so glad I got to experience it with Jennifer from Hot House Yoga! All 4 of us in the class had some experience with a stand up paddleboard and all of us had done yoga, but none of us had ever tried paddleboard yoga. Jennifer was great at explaining everything thoroughly and putting us at ease. I appreciated her giving us modifications if a particular pose was not right for us. We all had a great time! I highly recommend Jennifer and this class!
