I brought both of my kids to train with Bob Brown as soon as each of them turned three years old. They have continued to flourish with Jen Schmill, Lauren Wolff, and Derrick Paulson. Gratitude and respect!

Check your ego at the door: if you have a problem with this gym, it just might be you! The environment and the people are incredibly welcoming and supportive. It is clear that everyone there wants to learn and improve AND help others to do the same. Bob, Jen, and all the instructors are competent, kind, and incredibly helpful. If you want to challenge yourself, learn some new things, improve your mindset and mental discipline, sweat a whole bunch, meet some incredible people, and leave a place better than you came to it, I’d recommend Zoo BJJ 100%!!

I've been to a few gyms around town but ZooBJJ is by far the BEST Missoula gym to train Brazilian Jiujitsu at for all levels. There’s a reason they are 5.0! It is the most welcoming, clean, zero-drama, and friendly environment I have ever been in. Everyone is focused on improving themselves, and there are many high-level belt ranks to get some great rolls with, along with fantastic and highly skilled coaches. You can tell they care about their students’ learning and are always focused on helping everyone improve. It is like a breath of fresh air compared to the local gym I used to train at before! I always recommend ZooBJJ to all of my clients and business associates. They are top tier.

Iv'e been training here for 2 years now and I'm addicted. If your looking for a place to train Jiu Jitsu, definitely check out Zoo BJJ. Coach Bob has a pretty laid back style, but he will push you hard it your getting ready for a tournament or just wish to challenge yourself. All the regulars are very friendly and we always like having new people to train with.

Zoo BJJ has something to offer everyone- whether you're looking for a great workout, a close knit community of friendly folks, competition training, or just want to learn how to choke people out. Bob's class is suited for anyone with a pulse and a willingness to learn and his style is relaxed and inviting to all belts who enter the gym. He leaves the rest wide open to you and how you want to pursue the sport and attain your own personal goals. Bob has fostered a community of people who are all too willing to help you along your way.

I've been training at ZooBjj for just under 2 years now and I have nothing but good things to say about this place. The environment is without judgement or ego, and everyone is equally welcoming to newcomers with no experience and to those with a lifetime of experience. Bob is a very down-to-earth human with an easygoing approach to teaching that makes training fun. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is the most confidence-boosting and yet humbling sport I've ever participated in, and I'd recommend training with Bob and the rest of ZooBJJ to anyone. An easy 5 stars.
