Coach Dunbar has taught me to be discipline & taught me not only boxing but all the outside life skills you need to know. The 4 years I’ve been here, the atmosphere has been amazing, all the coaches are very good examples of how boxing is supposed to be. Coach Dunbar takes the time out of his day & is able to make personal connections with the students who need help or who are struggling with issues in their life, no matter the situation. He has showed & taught me so many different things to form me into the better person I am today.

I recently moved to Moreno Valley, and was searching the area for boxing gyms since I wanted to get into it. After searching local gyms I found a few that easily got overshadowed by what United boxing academy has to offer. Over the past couple of years I started to pick up weight and really wanted to get back into shape and while doing so learning how to fight properly.I scouted out local boxing gyms in the area and found United boxing academy to be the most reasonable priced especially for the equipment they have to offer, and the adult classes Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 7:30pm-9:00pm which worked perfectly with my work schedule. Plus starting off with three days didn't seem like you're over doing it as well.You can talk to the coach if you want to get some extra work in or just go in to use the equipment and handle your own workouts at different times as well which most people end up doing this when they get more serious about their training. I've been signed up since April 1st 2021 and I came in at 247lbs and now I'm at 218 almost hitting my first goal of 215lbs so if you stick with it you'll definitely get there and this is without going on a strict diet as well. I love the people there for the adult class we're like a small family coming for all different reasons and we respect each others goals and help push each other towards the better.Overall recommend even if you're not looking to fighting seriously and just learning how to fight or losing weight we respect everyone and their decisions all the same.Glad to be a part of a team.Happy new years!

My son (11 year old) was able to experience a month here at United Boxing Academy before going back home to the East coast. I can honestly say we have yet to come across a gym like this in our area. The coaches were great at training/explaining the workouts, teaching correct form and inspired the students daily.I would definitely recommend those who are interested to try out the boxing academy, you will love it. The jiu jitsu looked excellent as well.

This is a great gym! I have been coming here for 4 months and the whole time it’s been a supporting and great environment. I have seen massive improvement within myself and everyone in class says the same about themselves. We see our progress week by week, month by month. The coach is great as well. 👍🏼He really knows his stuff.Definitely recommend for serious people who want to achieve things and people who just would like to get back into shape. 100%

United boxing academy is a great gym for the youth, middle ages from elderly. Coach Dunbar has all types of workouts for different age groups. For the youth he makes sure that not only are they in the sport but also learning to respect others and have discipline so in whatever they do they will have the discipline to achieve there goals. If you actually want a career in boxing this is the best place to to make a career out of boxing. Coach Dunbar has decades of experience and knows exactly what to teach certain fighters. If you really want to have a great career in boxing this is the best place for fighters who are determined to make it.

This place works miracles. I started out overweight and unhappy until I discovered this place. I enrolled and since then I have been learning discipline, self-defense, and many more skills to help me in the everyday world. Coach Dunbar’s programs is a program you can’t find any where else. The environment is great everyone is kind and helpful and it made me really understand their Motto. Their Moto is “ one team, one family” and I see this everyday, I feel like it’s my second family.

Coach Dunbar is an amazing coach if you want to be serious. He is serious about what he does and expects nothing but the best from you. If you are looking for any boxing place in the IE, I strongly suggest coming to United Boxing Academy. I have only been here for a couple of months and gotten nothing but encouragement and great training. I look forward to practice all the time to improve and get a good workout in .Everyone there is very welcoming and helpful.

I signed up my daughter so she could gain self confidence. Coach Dunbar is my blessing! He has given her self confidence, and so much more. She believes in herself. I see how Coach Dunbar interacts with all the kids and he is GREAT! It's not about money at all to him. He goes out of his way and does grade checks on the kids. If there struggling in a subject. He brings in a tutor. You tell me what gym would do that!? He truly is an Amazing man. Because the sparkle I see in my daughter now. That alone is a gift he has taught her. I can't thank Coach Dunbar enough. The gym is nice and clean. Friendly service. All around it's the BEST!

This is a great gym! Have been coming for about a year and a half and can not wait to put my daughter in the classes. The people that train there are very helpful as well as coach Dunbar. Once you put time into being here it practically becomes your second home. There is great energy and lots of motivation from the people around you. There are also many opportunities to become a part of this little community with plenty of events being hosted throughout the year! Would recommend this in a heart beat!

My 7 year old son boxes here 3 times a week. His coach is great. Good with kids and has them learning the rules, the moves, basic fitness as well as sportsmanship and self esteem. It's not cheap (what sport is though) but for $80 a month he goes 3 hours a week. Plus if he gets there early or stays late the coach will work with him 1 on 1 a little more. The gym is always clean. Smells like a gym...but...duh. You can join the gym for like $10 if anyone in your family takes a class. The machines all look pretty new and in good working order. I'd say that part is about 1500 square feet. A little bigger than a 1 bedroom apartment. Anyway, my son loves this place and I am more than happy with it and the coaches. We will continue to go here for many years.
