This is my second Gracie Barra and it’s just as great as the first one. The classes are structured on a curriculum and they walk you through all the different positions and submissions. Professor Henrique, Andrew and Vandi are great and it’s an honor to train under them. It’s also great that the gym is always clean! Best BJJ place in Charleston.

This is an amazing Brazilian Jiu-jitsu Academy.The school is gorgeous, always clean, great energy and the staff is super welcoming and friendly.Professor Henrique is a very thorough instructor and the classes are lots of fun! This studio is amazing! We were visiting from out of town and belong to another studio. While the entire Gracie Barra organization is amazing, this location is first class. We were so impressed with the instruction we scheduled a private lesson with Professor Henrique. Can’t wait to come back next time we visit!

The gym is bright and clean, everyone is friendly, instruction starts on time, and the level of instruction and attention to detail during the class is far above other places I have been to. If you’re experienced or have never tried jiujitsu before, I would definitely give Professor Henrique and Gracie Barra a try to experience for yourself or your children.

to anyone on the fence, take that first step and go for a visit. you wouldn't be reading reviews if you weren't seriously considering starting your own personal journey in Jiu-Jitsu. what's holding you back? the Gracie Barra Charleston owners are wonderful and welcoming to all. from my experience, they make it priority to not only provide a great service and spotlessly clean training environment but also to get to know each one of their students. you will not feel like just another face going through the motions on your own. there is an energy among the students that i have met and everyone is friendly and shares common goals to better themselves and each other regardless of experience level.

It is such a great school, the people are so friendly and nice, super helpful. Glad I picked this school. The professor are super helpful funny and just amazing! The school is super clean, they clean the mats after ever class. You learn super great self defense I would definitely recommend to train at Gracie❤️
