I attended a class hosted by Joelle (sorry if it’s spelled wrong), and he kicked our BUTTS. Def a great class to join if you like structured group class settings. If/when I come back to Charleston, I’ll def try to get into another class!

I've lived in Charleston 14 years, and have finally found the best fitness community at PWR Fitness. The coaches are excellent, they pay strict attention to your form to prevent injuries. Also if an old injury "flares up", the coaches take the time to modify the work out for you. The coaches also are also encouraging and push you to do more , so you can achieve your health goals. This is truly the best hour of my day and get excited to go and work out! Also, the community is awesome, varying levels of fitness and truly supportive of each other. If you're looking for a community, with awesome workouts and best coaches in Charleston, PWR is your place!

Awesome workout for sure. Signed up for the free week trial as advertised online as I was visiting for a few days. Was great 1st day and went back for day 2 and felt awkward as the owner felt the need to tell me day 2 the free week was for residents only and I should’ve paid the drop in price but would let me slide.I didn’t think this was very professional, first of all your website shouldn’t stated that and 2ndly you could’ve said this day 1 when I showed up. 3rdly did you really need to make it know on day 2 that you were doing me a favor?Maybe that’s the conflict with a NY vs MA personality?!I never tell any gyms/coaches when traveling and trying out places that I am a as well a Coach!I like to see and experience the vibe as just a client and learn from others and places I travel.Anyway, the workout was great day 1 , day 2 a little confusing it was a partner workout so I felt as a Coach myself this could’ve been explained a little better.Great equipment!Thought the Coaches could’ve been a little more encouraging and lively.Overall I would return when visiting again because the equipment and workout was great.Totally would’ve gave 5 starts if that comment wasn’t made!

HIGHLY recommend PWR Fitness for anyone looking for a gym to call home. I was working out alone at home and needed a little bit more motivation and accountability and decided to try PWR with a coworker. I am hooked! The classes are challenging and never the same. Ian and Joel have struck a great balance between weight training and HIIT. They both are incredibly knowledgable, kind, and are there to coach you through each class and new movements. The thing I have loved the most is how friendly this gym is. The atmosphere is always positive and there is no odd man out feeling. Absolutely love it here

PWR is the best gym! Classes are small so they are really able to pay attention to your form. The workouts are always super challenging, but able to be modified for any fitness level, and Ian and Joel are really great coaches. If you want a really good workout that will always challenge you, I highly recommend PWR.

Hands down one of the best gyms I have ever been too! The programming is awesome as It caters to diverse athletes needs and the community is welcoming and supportive. The coaching staff is also one of a kind as the coaches are experts in the fitness field who take their time in ensuring you feel safe, supported and encouraged during a PWR class! PWR Fitness in Mt. Pleasant is, without a doubt, the best gym to go to for a great workout. Each class is challenging but not intimidating. They’re structured in a way that is easy to follow, and there’s a different workout each day so you’ll never get bored. Also, as someone who’s dealt with a fair share of injuries, I was relieved to learn that every movement and skill can be modified on the spot so I know I will still be able to do everything in the class, just in a different way, and still feel just as challenged. And in terms of challenging, Joel is the kind of trainer who will encourage and motivate you to perform at a level you didn’t think you were capable of. When the class ends, you’ll be proud of what you were able to accomplish, and you’ll look forward to doing it again. So, if you’re looking for a workout led by experienced trainers who know how to get you results, join PWR Fitness. You won’t regret it!

PWR Gym is really outstanding.The equipment is top notch and they have everything to meet my needs. The facilities are extremely clean. Joel and Ian are incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about their fitness. They are welcoming and helpful. PWR Gym is somewhere you can go and work at your own pace; they will give you modifications if needed, they know how to push you. The classes are fantastic!
