This gym isn’t responsive to inquiries. The website doesn’t display any information on day passes. When approaching the gym and incurring about a day pass they rejected me. They claimed i need to be with a member and that it’s a “member only gym”. This doesn’t make sense as every gym in America is a member only gym that requires Membership, but they still display day pass information on the website. Don’t waste your time here if your visiting Nampa looking for a good gym.

As they self-proclaim, this gym is definitely one of the better gyms in the area - at least if you're into bodybuilding, powerlifting, etc. There is some very good pieces of equipment here that you won't typically find and most other gyms, such as a pendulum squat, reverse hyperextention machine, and belt squat machine. The best thing about this gym, however, is the environment within the gym and the culture surrounding it. As hinted at earlier, this is a place tailored more towards those into bodybuilding, powerlifting, and similar styles of fitness. These are the kinds of fitness endeavors I’m into, so this makes the gym one more suited to my needs, though it may not be the place for those into things like Crossfit, or for the novice who is easily intimidated by the gym environment and heavy lifting. With all this said, there is still much left to be desired.First and foremost, this gym doesn’t currently have a shower or closed-off locker-room area to change in. They do have a couple bathrooms to get changed in. They also do have 5-or-so lockers inside the main area of the gym towards the entrance, but those don’t seem to be available for regular members. This isn’t such a big deal to me, but might be for many people. The biggest frustration for me is the lack of gym equipment. Again, they do have some nice pieces of equipment, but they also lack some equipment I’d like to see, some very questionable equipment, and also some consolidation that could be done. The main type of equipment that is missing from this gym is some good flat/vertical chest-press machines. They do have some good standard chest-pressing equipment (which can all be seen in the pictures), including a biangular chest-press machine, which REALLY targets my pecs. However, what I feel is really missing is a good flat/vertical chest press machine (other than the biangular machine). The flat chest press machines (again, other than the biangular machine) they do have, such as their Hoist HD 1500 machine or Body Masters machine, only go up to 210lbs and 250lbs, respectively. This can be enough for sets with high reps, but not really good for low-rep sets. I’m a novice and maxing out these machines. Of course, there are barbell and dumbbell options, but these come with issues such as safety, ability to get the weight into position, ability to go to failure safely, and if they actually target the musculature effectively (everyone is built different, so a piece of equipment that might target the pecs of one individual really well might not work for someone else). So, some suggested pieces of equipment I’d like to see are something like a Prime Plate-Loaded Chest Press Machine, Atlantis PW340 Vertical Chest Press Machine, or Arsenal Reloaded Vertical Chest Press Machine. The second major piece of equipment I feel is missing is a good chest-supported rowing machine. They do have a couple decent pieces such as a Hammer Strength Low-Row, a Hammer Strength Seated Row, and Hoist CL2203. The main issue with these pieces of equipment is, besides the Hoist machine, they are bit difficult to get into position easily, and all 3 don’t allow for free wrist and arm articulation/freedom. I’d really like to see a Arsenal Reloaded Vertical Row, Arsenal Reloaded Lever Row, or Prime Plate-Loaded Seated Row.Other pieces I’d like to see are like a bent-over hack squat, unilateral leg press, a glute kickback machine, and a better seated lateral raise machine that allows for more arm position freedom. Two pieces of equipment I think they could sell off are the Hammer Strength GBCD, and the Hammer Strength deadlift machine. Some of this opinion might be due to the fact that I’m a bit of a novice, don’t fully understand anatomy, etc. I’m just giving my personal opinion on things.Overall, it’s a very good gym, and definitely being in an environment that matches my mindset and goals is VERY important. Highly recommend you give this gym a shot if you’re not currently a member.

Mary is super unprofessional and probably worth avoiding. She will stare at you while you lift and holds weird petty grudges.

Best gym in Nampa! The owners have this place set up right. Not a huge area but have everything to workout every muscle group you can think of. Not one of those gyms that the owners are never at. Charlie and Mary are here everyday and very nice and willing to offer any advice. Love the re-rack policy (re-rack or your kicked out) unlike other gyms that weights are just thrown and left on equipment. Never leaving this gym unless I move out of the area.
