I was invited to join along on a retreat to Bali with Tessa & Bare Health at the recommendation of my mom. I had no expectations but knew the experience was going to be immersive in modalities I had never experienced. Without a hesitation in my mind, I would recommended anyone to go on a retreat with Tessa, as she created an all immersive, spiritual, fun, exciting, and healing trip for each individual person. These retreats are a great window to explore a new environments, relax, and find joy in allowing someone to take you on a journey that focus on your personal health in a supportive group setting. The food was incredible, the people, and the experiences were unforgettable. Do not hesitate to go on a retreat with Bare Health, I'm confident you will have a joyous time.

I have now been on 2 Bali retreats with Tessa & Bare Health.I have had nothing but the most incredible experiences both times.This most recent retreat was focused on health, wellness and spiritual/healing and of course fun!Being able to meet new friends and bond over a shared experience is truly wonderful.Tessa is very involved, professional and dedicated to everyone having the best experience possible. Not to mention her fitness/health knowledge and daily encouragement.I highly reccomneded BareHealth retreats if you are looking for adventure, wellness and connection with like minded people.

I just went on a retreat to Bali with Tessa & Bare Health at the recommendation of a friend. I went into the experience totally blind and unsure what to expect - I just knew I really want to go to Bali! And I am so glad I did! The experience was so well cultivated and Tessa created the perfect well rounded schedule to ensure a little bit of everything was seen and done! This retreat was very healing and opening, once I got there a safe and solid environment was established making it easy for me to relax, let go, and just enjoy being taken on the journey of a lifetime! If you are considering a retreat with Bare Health, just do it!!!

Bare Health is an amazing gym with great trainers, AND an incredible wellness retreat facilitator. I went on their Bali Wellness Retreat (October 2023) and it was the experience of a lifetime. Tessa and Matt do an incredible job hosting and if you want to unplug, recharge and reconnect with yourself and others, then sign up for their retreat! They plan and organize everything for you so you can just show up and truly relax. From daily yoga, sound healing, visiting rice paddys, massages and snorkeling with manta rays, there is something for everyone on a Bare Health retreat. And the FOOD is incredible.Thank you again Bare Health!

Matt is a really great trainer and I enjoyed my weekly sessions with him while I was going to culinary school. He pushed me to up my game and in turn I got stronger and had more energy. I would highly recommend selecting Matt as your personal trainer. The studio is really nice as well.

As a college athlete I’m used to cupping and have had it done too many times to count. Tessa honestly has cupped my whole better than I have ever experienced. I left feeling like a new person and am definitely going to go as frequently as I can. If I could give this experience 6/5 stars I would.

Go here!! Me and my fiancée have been training with Tessa since September '22. After we got engaged, looking for a personal trainer was our first order of business. We started with a postural assessment with Matt. It was great because we had our baseline documented. Through that gave us custom stretches and warm-ups to correct existing issues we had. Tessa has been an absolutely amazing trainer! Not only is she fun to be around, but she actively checks in and is highly motivating. In the past 9 months of being trained with Tessa, our body aches are gone, we have collectively lost over 9% body fat, and above all, our self confidence has never been higher. We feel like we not only have found a health and fitness home but also a community of great people we enjoy being around. Could not recommend this gym more!

I’ve tried to start a fitness journey so many times in the past by going into the gym and “working out” without a plan and it was just inconsistent. I always gave up and tried again the next year and sure enough, quit.I started my journey at Bare Health in Feb of 2023 with the help of Tessa, Matt (owners) and my PT, Carla.They’ve taught me that a fitness journey isn’t just about working out, it’s about self-care, stretches, cupping, and diet. I’ve been on their nutritional diet since I started, and I’m never looking back. I’m never hungry, less tired and overall, happy. Then I started to add workouts with the help of my trainer, Carla. With having a great diet and a great workout plan, I’ve never felt and look better!A couple weeks ago, I ran into an issue where I hurt my shoulder. It caused me to take time off of work and it was so painful. Tessa approached with the idea of cupping therapy to release the muscle spasm and the pain was gone within 2 hours of receiving the cupping. It’s really opened my mind to cupping therapy!I’m so happy and grateful to know these amazing people who truly care for the best interest of all clients at Bare Health. We've worked with Tessa since before Bare Health was founded and before she was married to Matt. We started working with her in 2010. She amazing. Matt's amazing. Armando and Carla are amazing.
