I cannot say enough about how highly I regard Sean and the team at Napa Tenacious Fitness. I’ve been training there for 18 months to reset my fitness post-pandemic with the goal of finding a routine that I will maintain consistently going forward. The team has been amazingly supportive of my goal. I love that my exercise routine is constantly evolving, keeping things interesting to engage my body and mind. I feel stronger and with fewer aches than I’ve had in many years. The team is so personable and sets me at ease; I don’t know how they do it but every trainer there greets you by your first name on arrival and departure, creating a warm and supportive environment. Special shout out to coaches Moni and Noah who I’ve trained with most frequently, though I’ve happily worked with all of the coaches. If you are looking to meet your fitness goals in the new year, I highly recommend Napa Tenacious Fitness.

I can’t compliment Darwin at Napa Tenacious Fitness enough. He takes my fun sports, golf and pickleball, seriously! From throwing tennis balls at me while I’m standing on one foot (to improve my fast reaction and balance for pickleball) to adjusting forearm and upper arm exercises to treat and prevent golfer’s elbow, Darwin has increased my confidence and ability in playing these sports. My handicap has dropped 5 points! My medical tests have also improved - from improving my bone density to improved cholesterol, blood sugar and triglyceride results. As a medical doctor, I also vouch for Darwin’s nutrition and fitness knowledge. He is up to date on these topics and I trust his advice. I am glad that Sean McCawley writes for the Napa Register - that’s how I found this gym and it’s been a great investment in my health!

Napa Tenacious Fitness is THE BEST gym I have ever worked with. I have been training here for 6 months and I have trained with most of the team and I can’t say enough about how wonderful they are! Not only is the training method unique, challenging and fun - my results have been great! I highly recommend training with Napa Tenacious!!

I turn 40 next June and have been trying to re-prioritize my health as a gift to myself and my family. Napa Tenacious Fitness has been a great resource and solution for me as I struggle to create exercise habits after babies. It is pricier than I would like, but worth the expense for me since I have not been able to commit to anything successfully otherwise. I am still early and slow in my goals, but am seeing marked, steady progress and have done so in a consistent, kind, supportive environment - without pressure, feelings of defeat, comparison, or worry that I'm doing it wrong! I can trust Darwin that he knows what he is doing to turn me into a strong mom who is ready, rather than reluctant for all of my family's adventures! I am looking forward to signing up for my next 6 months!

I am that person who has always wanted to be in better shape, but just couldn't stick to a routine. Earlier this year, I made a decision that it was now or never. I joined one of the big gyms in town and tried some training sessions, but the environment didn't feel right. It was big and loud and not at all personal. So I called around to some of the smaller personal training gyms and decided to try Tenacious. My intro session was with Sarah, and after that session, I knew this was the right gym and the right program for me. I signed up for 3 months. Starting out was hard for me, but the coaches were all supportive and encouraging, and now I'm starting my second 3 month session. I'm seeing and feeling progress and I'm hooked! I've also used the nutrition counseling and massage! I give both of those 5 stars too!Sean has created something special, with both the program and the gym environment. Where else do you walk in to a gym and everybody knows your name!

I normally have a baseline level of fitness but do much better with someone telling me how to workout and holding me accountable. Tenacious Fitness does both! I'm training for a mountain climb and knew I needed help to get me to the level of fitness required to not only be safe, but have a good time climbing. I've been working with Tenacious Fitness for a few months now and I've noticed big changes in both my physical level of fitness as well as my appearance. Hiking is getting easier, I'm lifting heavier, and I'm actually working out on my own more effectively since I've been assigned homework to do on my own. I'll be using their nutrition counseling soon too! They have so many ways to help you get to the fitness goals you've places and i highly recommend them if you want to take your fitness to the next level. Its also worth mentioning that they are extremely flexible with scheduling. They frequently check in to see how you're feeling throughout the course of your fitness journey. This was such a good decision on my end and I'll come back for another review after I've accomplished my goal!

I’ve been training with Tenacious for 27 months. I joined during Covid when I got a new job convinced that post covid we’d never be able to continue with my travel schedule. The flexibility and dynamicism of the entire team was unbelievable and we never missed a beat with my variable schedule. I’ve also never been able to do heavy strength work without injuries but their protocol of focusing on fundamentals and mobility has made a huge difference in my training. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been and injury free even with an incredibly challenging work schedule. Moni, Alec, Noah, Darwin and Sean have been instrumental in keeping me healthy and on track with my physical goals. Thanks Napa Tenacious.

I had stopped going to the gym for a couple years so I signed up with Darwin to get myself excited to return to the gym. Their system is set up well for me to do that. One day a week with Darwin and the other days on my own. I always find myself in a good mood when leaving there for the rest of the day. Great conversations and awesome workouts.

I signed up for sessions because I had a goal of looking a bit more fit for a wedding. Six months later I am delighted that in addition to looking more fit, I feel much better in my body. I have been dealing with chronic shoulder pain for years and that is now gone. Really appreciate all of the trainers I have worked with at Tenacious. Have spent the most time with Darwin and Ayden who are fantastic.

I have had several trainer experiences over the years and my 6 months with Napa Tenacious has been by far THE BEST! The program that Sean has created and customization of workouts are so effective and actually fun!! My strength and endurance have increased exponentially allowing me to do all of the outdoor activities I love and confidently push myself. The entire team at Tenacious is incredibly talented, so knowledgeable and a blast to work with.
