Yoga cave is an unbelievable studio to be a part of. The community and sense of belonging to something where people enjoy you however you show up that day and simply want the best for you is amazing. Chris and JoAnn are the owners and let me tell you they are some incredible instructors. Chris has a hot yoga class that will make you work up a good sweat alongside his soothing heart opening invigorating vinyasa classes that add a sense of fluidity to your life. JoAnn roots down in fierce weighted sculpt classes for anyone looking to build muscle or stay toned followed by an unbelievable heart felt message at the end of each class that will follow you into the rest of your week. I’ve also had the honor of attending Lauren’s classes which add flare to your day with her incredible playlists & great routines that flow so wonderfully. Anyone out there that has been doing yoga for a while or looking to challenge their yoga game should hit up Melanie’s classes she will kick your butt in the best way & she always does it with a great smile and warm heart. Katie is next level flexible and is goals! She is another sweet soul with an unbelievable way of teaching the techniques and always keeps it new & interesting! I’ve yet to have the pleasure of really experiencing the other instructors but let me tell you Yoga Cave is stacked with an incredible team and anyone’s class you attend you will absolutely love :)

I had attended classes at this studio location, under different ownership, many years ago. JoAnn was the instructor I always went to for the yoga sculpt class. I planned to enjoy returning pre-pandemic, but never got around to it, and it only took two extra years to “just do it.“ Wish I had not taken so long to return. JoAnn has turned the studio into a serene comforting atmosphere. You feel safe to show up as who you are wherever you are at in your yoga practice. You can tell there are many regulars, a sign of a great studio, that are also friendly to the newcomers. For the sculpt class, you can choose your weights, multiple weights, or no weights at all. You are instructed on any and all adjustments you can make to accommodate your unique needs. No two classes are alike, and every sculpt class I have attended has been creatively choreographed with the best unique playlists. Most of the time, she ends her classes with a cold lavender lemon washcloth to cool off, but always ends with the most heartfelt intention to carry throughout the day. Highly recommend!

I attended Ron’s class, “Invigorating Vinyasa with Meditation.” Ron shows authenticity in his personality; he has an energy and a true passion for his teaching, wanting to educate and inspire others. He’s empowering with a positive attitude. The class consisted of 4 females (including myself) and two males. The only predictable part of the class was when students chose where to place their mats. You know the moment, when we (or at least I) pretend not to pay attention to the interpersonal and intrapersonal dynamics of the other students.According to my observation, two females were regulars, the third female had previously attended a class but not many or maybe not with this instructor, one male had attended a class taught by Ron but was a beginner level, the other male was in jeans, yes jeans, and I was taking my first class at this studio and first class with this teacher. The two female regulars placed their mats right in front. Of course one of the females had to be “that yogi,” the kind that once class started she had to move faster than instructed. I find this disrespectful not only to the class, but more importantly to the teacher. The reason I provide this background is because after my initial judgement, I never noticed another student the entire class. All yoga classes have a unique attribute, this class in particular stands out to me more than others because of the diversity of each yogi: mentally, physically, emotionally, and even stylistically (referring to the jeans).Ron’s intention changed my entire perspective and therefore my practice. I don’t want to give away his intellectual property, because I believe he has ownership of the concepts. The insight and knowledge he provided truly is his own original, creatively developed work.A good teacher constantly challenges and encourages the students. Ron is an exceptional teacher by taking into account the physical, psychological, emotional and spiritual state of his students by observing and listening.I started to get a little nervous when it felt like we were almost halfway through the class and Ron had not given me any adjustments. Only reflecting back now do I realize he was learning about me to know the best way to assist my practice. His adjustments were AMAZING! I actually would have liked more but it most likely would have pushed me too far and Ron knew the proper individual guidance I needed.Another strength of Ron’s teaching is his humility. He shares his knowledge and wisdom without putting himself on a pedestal, or making any student feel inadequate physically, mentally, emotionally or spiritually. He showed his knowledge, instead of telling his background story.A new student should be able to come to class and feel that the experience was a positive one and leave with more knowledge of yoga, which is exactly what Ron’s “Invigorating Vinyasa with Meditation” did for me. I will be back!

Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful studio and knowledgeable instructors. I’ve been to several studios in the local area and in a short time this space has made it to the top of the list. The yoga sculpt class is fantastic!

After almost 4 years of inactivity, I gave them a try and am HAPPILY addicted to my workout routine with them. The instructors are all extremely encouraging and will appropriately challenge you no matter what level you are coming in. I appreciate that there are people from all demographics working out along side of me every time I go - in the end, we are all sweating and focusing on pushing ourselves.By far, the best experience I have had with any class-like setting or gym.I do sculpting with Joann & (if my schedule allows it) have occasionally tried classes with Claire & Chris. I am never disappointed!

The first time I came to yoga. I came with my mother, she is 70 years old, we decided to try all kinds of yoga. I liked Joann, but it turned out to be too intense for us. I think if in a year I will probably try her classes again. I wanted to say a big thank you to Katie, after her classes I always want to come back and try something new. Lightness in the body and energy for the whole day. Of course, I will recommend this studio to everyone. My mom and I are just happy.

I take Erik’s hot yoga class on Saturdays. I am not usually one to enjoy yoga but Erik makes the experience wonderful. The class is extremely relaxing and a great pace for beginners like me. I am coming to really enjoy yoga now and look forward to going!

Yoga Cave has become my favorite place! The instructors, welcoming environment, amazing classes, and emphasis on personal growth keeps me coming back. JoAnn is the absolute best - she has such a love for people and the practice. This isn’t just a business to her. It’s a place for people to come to push themselves, gain confidence, and tackle life together. I’m a college student and seriously come home certain weekends just to attain class :) You won’t regret joining the Yoga Cave family!!
