The people are very friendly and welcoming. The rates are great! If you are a beginner like we were we walked in for a 30 min belay session, that included the shoes, and with it we could stay as long as we wanted to boulder. The only suggestion I make is that if you plan to walk in get there right as they open, otherwise book a time a day in advance so that you will not have to wait. It filled up quickly after 11. We will definitely be coming back

City Climb is my family's favorite place to go. The routes are exciting, the staff is ALWAYS friendly and helpful and it is ALWAYS very clean. I have never experienced that funky "gym smell" there. My kids are in the climbing club once a week and love it-they never want to leave! One of my daughters is a bit challenging and the staff navigates her attitude like champs! We have had two successful, fun, and affordable birthday parties here. I highly recommend!

I love City Climb! The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is super welcoming and affirming. There is a wide range of skill levels and ages, but everyone is always willing to help out and give some tips. Yoga on Tuesdays, Boot camp on Wednesdays are excellent.

City Climb is a home away from home for me - my favorite place to get a work out in and see my friends. The staff is welcoming and the setting is fun. The management team is all experienced outdoor climbers, which I appreciate in a gym!

Not my favorite climbing gym of all time, but it’s New Haven’s gym. Sure, the holds aren’t washed, the hours are limited, and the walls are short—but the staff does try hard and it’s appreciated. Although I really wish they bought new holds...

Amazing place! The staff is super nice and helpful, and the climbs have a range suited well for all climbers (V0 - V9, 5.5 - 5.13). The bouldering is some of the best I have ever seen, and the top-roping is creative and challenging. The routes are routinely changed, so you are never bored. Highly recommended
