Wayyy to many kids their , you have groups of boys talking not working out and couples cuddling up. Staff is physically their but mentally elsewhere. I recommend finding a better location to workout

Was traveling and visited this gym. The staff was friendly and helpful and the gym was clean. I really appreciated the 24- hour pass.

They don't have good service and a lack of interest in helping to solve problems. My headphones just fell into an exercise machine a week ago I ask when I'll be able to get them back and they don't just say they don't know when. The unwillingness to be able to help is unbelievable. very sad and disappointed.

Very clean. Staff is friendly and can be seen cleaning quite frequently. Usually enough machines if you go on off hours. You’ll have to wait for smith machines otherwise as there is usually groups that rotate out of 1-2.

One of the cleanest Planet Fitness facilities I have ever been to. Not only that, but this Planet Fitness is very spacious, and when I went, it was not crowded at all.

Now I'm playing as fitness on hegenberger I definitely gave it a one-star because who wants to go to a gym and work out and come out just to have homeless people sleeping inside the parking lot some of the cars is abandoned in some of them is not the staff there at planet fitness comes out look doesn't really say anything I'm like people really don't want to pay to work out at your facility if you can't make sure that the outside is safe and that's my honest of you staff is lazy and I seen the security guard patrol around in his car just to go around the parking lot to do what get paid to do absolutely nothing

This location is good as a cardio gym (even though the machines do not have their own personal screens - tvs are hanging side-by-side off the ceiling), but as for weights, the options were lacking. I don't know if it's because of summer, teens get to work out for free, the after-work rush, or some other reason but it was very crowded and people had to lift very close to each other due to lack of space. Benches were very hard to come by, most free weights were in use so you have to take what you can get, and the same people were using the smith machines for almost 40 solid minutes (on their phones or doing 20 sets each apparently)...and then they didn't re-rack their weights. I saw very little wiping off of equipment and people playing music on their phones with no headphones.I work out regularly at a Planet Fitness in SoCal and have visited several different locations when out of town. The layout of this one felt odd to me and as mentioned above, the gym etiquette needs work. Would recommend for cardio though. The parking lot had shattered glass in several spaces, so park with caution.

I'm from Gary Indiana and was here for a day and a half waiting on my flight back to Chicago. This place is 3 blocks if that from LaQuinta Inn so I called to see the rates. Two incredibly helpful young people went out of their way to get me a free pass and make my life better for the next 4 hours or so. The place is antiseptic clean for a commercial gym and the clients were all very considerate towards each other. Brandon and Karrina were exceptionally efficient friendly memorable ambassadors of this establishment and I am indeed considering a membership as I travel extensively and these units seem to be about everywhere I am. I'm certain this is an exceptional place and the management staff is indeed fortunate as we the public to have such friendly helpful and exceedingly clean conscious staff to help keep their clients safe and happy. This gym also has a lot of good solid equipment in top shape to use. There is certainly something for everyone. California isn't dead yet. My hats off to Brandon and Karrina with sincere gratitude for making my stay in Oakland exceptional rather than just pleasant.

For the price of the membership planet fitness is a great value.This location is usually less busy than Hayward. The parking spaces are small and people tend to park over the line a lot.Outside of that they have everything you will need to gain, lose, or maintain... As long as you don't finish your workout with McDonald's, Taco Bell, or the Taco Truck that share the parking lot with the gym.
