MROC has completely transformed my life, and I couldn't be more thrilled to give it a well-deserved five-star review. This gym has been nothing short of exceptional, and I attribute much of my success to the outstanding coaching team, with special shout-outs to coach Matt and coach Brandon. From the moment I walked through the doors of MROC, I was welcomed with a sense of community that's hard to find elsewhere. The atmosphere is not only motivating but also genuinely supportive. The staff and fellow members create a positive, encouraging environment that makes every workout something to look forward to.Now, let's talk about Matt and Brandon, the dynamic duo of coaches at MROC. Their knowledge, passion, and dedication to helping clients achieve their fitness goals are truly commendable. The effort that goes into the weekly programming has been invaluable in my fitness journey. They go above and beyond to ensure that each session is not just a workout but an educational experience, empowering me to make better choices in and out of the gym.One of the standout qualities of Matt and Brandon, in addition to their fitness expertise, is their lighthearted personalities. These coaches not only bring a wealth of knowledge to the gym but also a healthy dose of humor and positivity. Their ability to make even the toughest workouts enjoyable with their witty banter is truly remarkable. It's not just about getting fit at MROC; it's about having a great time while doing it.What truly sets MROC apart is the holistic approach to fitness and well-being. It's not just about lifting heavy weights or running fast; it's about transforming your life. I've seen remarkable changes in my strength, endurance, and overall health since joining MROC. This gym has become a second home, a place where I've made lasting friendships and found the motivation to become the best version of myself. In summary, MROC deserves every one of its five stars, and I have Matt and Brandon to thank for being incredible coaches who have guided me on this incredible journey. If you're searching for a gym that can truly change your life and provide an amazing fitness experience, look no further than MROC. It's more than a gym; it's a community, a support system, and a place where goals are crushed on a regular basis.

I started the 28 Day Challenge on July 19, 2023 and I love the gym. I found it Googling "Ninja Gyms Oceanside". My favorite part is all of the obstacles, and that is from a 58 year old woman who can't even do a pull up (yet). I am confident the coaches will help me achieve my goals of successful performance of the obstacles. It may take a while but I have already gone from being afraid to do a 12" box jump to performing multiple reps on the 16" box, barely able to hang my full body weight to traveling 5 rungs on the monkey bars, and never flipping a tire to flipping the 300lb tire twice. The coaches are fantastic following the WOD (Workout of the Day) with their corrections and advice on movements in the gym for the last 2 months I see little improvements everyday which keeps me motivated and the best surprise was being able to descend stairs pain free. In the past the pain in my knees was excruciating. I have to admit my muscles have been sore ever since I started but it's a good kind of satisfying feeling that comes from hard work. The other members are great too, encouraging and lifting each other to better performance. Even when I don't feel like working out I know I am going to leave ther feeling fantastic. Exhausted but fantastic.

I just finished the 3-part obstacle skills training course at MROC. It was invaluable and just what I needed to boost my training for an upcoming Spartan Beast. Brandon is awesome! He’s great at explaining things and is super patient with newbies like me. This course was well worth the investment!

I’m happy I found this place. Signed up for their Saturday obstacle course simulation class and I’ve been hooked. One of the best gyms I’ve been to! Wish I didn’t wait so long to join. The atmosphere is a really motivational and the coaches are always willing to help and push you to your limit. They constantly help with proper form and technique so it’s like having a personal trainer in a small group setting. I’ve been working out for years and have been to a few OCR gyms and this one def has everything you can imagine as far as equipment/obstacles. If you are in the San Diego / Ocean side area definitely check this place out.

Love this gym! Started here a few weeks ago and I feel like I have gained an instant gym family. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and encouraging. I love the overall positive vibe at MROC and all the people I’ve met so far. If you are looking for a place to workout definitely give this place a try!

I took the Spartan Obstacle Specialist Course at MROC and it was an amazing experience as an athlete. I am looking to compete at a more Elite Level in OCR and this workshop was exactly what I needed. I am in the gym 6 days a week, but this class offered skill training in obstacles such as monkey bars, twister, carrys, running technique, Olympus etc. that you just don’t get time to practice unless your in a race. Not to mention OCR strategy tips from the coaches! Would recommend 10 outta 10.Bonus, the coaching staff was kind, knowledgeable, and welcoming to those who train and MROC or just come in for the short course.

Had heard about MROC and their unique approach to fitness incorporating obstacle course training and strength and was not disappointed. Facility is packed with different obstacles to try and was extremely clean and organized. The team was welcoming for first timers and other members were friendly. Definitely recommend if your in Oceanside and you're tired of the regular gym or crossfits.

I started by trying out MROC with the 28 day challenge in early Feb of 2023 and got hooked. I’ve run lots of Spartan Races over the years but always had issues with the overhead obstacles. Since starting at MROC, the coaches have worked with me to help me crush them and I can do them all now (though I’m still working on getting faster on them).MROC’s classes have a great mix of strength, agility, obstacles, and running and mixes them all together in a way that’s approachable and challenging for people of all skill levels.Love the recovery lab and open gym too. Really good culture and friendly members who will welcome you no matter how new you are to working out.Whether you’re looking for a specialty gym to help take you to the next level for Spartan Races, Tough Mudders, or other obstacle races or just want to get in shape, MROC is the place to be.10/10 would recommend.

Flash forward 2 years now! This is hands down, my favorite gym I have been a part of. The staff and its members are all so welcoming. I stumbled upon this gym after searching for a facility that could help me train for a Spartan race. It has been the perfect fit for me. I have done 2 Spartan races since joining and plan on many more. MROC offers a gym environment that is unlike any other. Wether you are training for your next Spartan or any other obstacle race, or just want to get back to a healthier you while actually having fun doing so, this is by far the best facility around. I was tired of the conventional gym atmosphere and just not having the motivation to go. The variety this gym offers and the way the coaches treat each member, are what keeps me going. They know every members name by heart. Which truly makes you feel like family rather than just another member.
