If im a member an due to an x reason my son has to go to the bathroom I'll use the bathroom and everything since I'm a member right ? But here they will call police on you .... Definitely staff that is not even preparedStaff at this locataion call police on members when they allowed their child to use the restroom here. There is video online of this altercation. The employees here are complacent, rude. Don't go here. It's better spending a little more elsewhere for respect.

Place smells of BO, cleanliness needs improvement. Staff seems closed minded. Calling police on members for issues that could’ve been resolved with a simple conversation. Workout eslewhere

I am so unbelievably disappointed in this location!! I have been a member sense they opened and last week I called and asked if they could transfer my membership to a different location because it was more convenient for me after my knee surgery and the person that answered said yes no problem, but he instead raised my rate by 39.plus dollars and never transfer my membership! What lack of professionalism! Robbery! It’s scammers like him that make this society what it is today! I want to cancel my membership now because I can not trust planet fitness! This dishonesty is unbelievable! I want a refund and cancellation effective 11/01/2023. I do not want to be a part of this new generation of dishonest individuals working at planet fitness!!! Shameful individuals! Shameful!

Still no hot water. I told them last time 2 weeks ago when I had to take a cold shower and couldn't suffer through it long enough to wash hair. This time I thought to check before working out. Ran 3 showers for several minutes and it never got hot. I told them on my way out (to go to another gym) and they argued with me and gave me attitude. Won't come to this PF again.

First time visiting but the overall cleanliness seemed a bit lacking & the elliptical a little dated but the girl at the front desk was pleasant! In particular, the tanning bed was extremely dirty and it wasn't just whoever was in it before me but rather it looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I understand it's the individuals' responsibility to wipe them down before/after use but I would assume there should be some oversight and cleaning on the staff's side as well. I scrubbed the bottom of the bed in room 1 but that took a while, the top is still needing attention 😬

Best planet fitness ever. Best staff. Best people. Thanks so much to this staff for always being super awesome and kind and working so hard. I am really grateful for them and all they do. This has been my home gym for over a year since moving back from across the country. And this place has been a huge help to me. Thank youuuuu! @floweryogi1111

Oh, my goodness! I tried this gym because the Carlsbad one was stinking so badly in the women’s locker room. The cleaning lady that was working there Su-Th, left. Now, the locker room barely gets cleaned, except for Wed & Thur, when a woman comes from the Oceanside location. She is so good at cleaning, and she’s personable!! Teresa is her name, and she’s a rockstar at her job!!🙌🏽I decided to give the Oceanside gym a try, wow! It’s really clean!! The employees are nice, and they do their jobs! They clean! The showers are clean and there’s a stool for each shower, not like the 2 stools at the Carlsbad location, where people hog them and take hour long showers or sleep in the shower stall, gawd! It’s just poorly managed, I guess. It’s amazing that these 2 locations are owned by the same person. Let that sink in. 2 totally different management styles; one with people who do their job and the other with people who don’t do their job. It’s bizarre. The Carlsbad gym has had broken toilet seats for months, no hooks for your bag at the showers, not enough stools, and it’s not clean feeling when I try to workout, there’s dust, hair, weird smells and it’s frustrating. Yes, the people at the front desk are nice, for the most part. Sometimes the woman who works at night, in Carlsbad, is in a mood and has been rude on occasion, but usually most everyone there is nice. I wonder why they can’t hire better people to work there, and put a tiny bit of effort into fixing the things like a toilet seat?? The manager of Carlsbad is a very nice guy; maybe he isn’t aware of the situation. Oceanside location has my vote for a great clean gym!

Love this place! My first gym I've been to, but there's so much variety in the workout machines, and I appreciate how they add that it's a judgement free zone. it really takes away a lot of pressure and anxiety! The employees are really nice too! :-)

Very clean, staff is friendly and doesn't feel like a competition. Everyone there was nice and helpful with some of the machines. Mask wearing is at your discretion. Every station has paper towels and disinfectant for you to wipe down the machines before and after use.
