Jacob is the most amazing trainer that I have ever worked with. Almost one year ago, I was at a point where I had no idea what to do to get started with an exercise program or how to get the right information on how to do it. I was at the highest weight I had been ever been at, I was very unhappy, and very frustrated at not knowing what to do. That’s when I came across Jacob and Fenix Fitness Mobile Training.Jacob has led me on an amazing fitness journey. In addition to the training program, Jacob has implemented a nutrition plan, provided nutritional education and guidance, and has transformed my diet in such a positive way. I’m 58, post menopausal, have a very colorful dieting history, and former hella mess. I had been working out for years and ended up with a couple injuries limiting my workouts. What had worked for me in the past regarding “diet” was no longer working. I just wanted to be healthy again.Motivation was at an all time low. I needed accountability and re-education on the right way back to health. I am so lucky I found Jacob. He refused the notion that my metabolism was broken (I was thoroughly convinced that in fact it was), refused to let me continue my self-limiting beliefs, and refused to let me give up. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear, that this would be easy and quick, that he had the magic “diet” or magic workout. In fact he said it will not be quick and it will not be easy. He points out what you are winning and tells you where you can improve. His workouts are expertly drafted, adjusting as he sees how your individual body moves and functions. If you need help with nutrition, he is on it. He helped me find what works for me now.I am coming up on one and a half years working with Jacob and I can say that if everything stayed as they are today, I would be ecstatic with my results. However, I am not anywhere near done. Maintaining good health is not something that has a finish line. In fact, Jacob already has a plan for my next phase. He has encouraged me to push beyond my original expectations.Without hesitation, I highly recommend Jacob. Jacob is genuine, deeply cares for his clients, and their results. He is professional, respectful, very encouraging and has all around great energy. I highly recommend him. He is very patient and passionate about his clients development. He isn't quick to let you give up, if your looking for someone to motivate you, then he's the one. No matter your physical ability (young or old) he's willing to meet you where your at and help you be comfortable, even if out of shape. You may not feel comfortable being challenged and pushed physically, but he will help motivate you through it if you are willing to push yourself out of your comfort zone.

My boyfriend & I were looking for an in home personal trainer. We needed the motivation of someone coming knocking on our door and giving us a good workout versus us trying to do it ourselves. Jacob has been that person. We have been working with him since September, and we couldn’t be happier. He is always on time, upbeat and ready to train. He has created plans to fit both our needs, individually. We haven’t had one workout that we felt was boring or wasn’t a good workout. He comes prepared and can always adjust if needed on the fly. He is so encouraging and pushes us, as he knows what we are capable of. He is very patient and is all about form, so you will be sure to do the workouts right. We have seen major results in these few months of working with him. At this point, he is family and we are so grateful to have him.

I highly recommend Jacob at Fenix Fitness for your in-home personal training and here’s why.I’m almost two years postpartum and I’ve been having difficulty getting the motivation and drive to bring myself back to a body weight and fitness level I am proud of. I struggled to make time for myself and make my health a priority. My husband found Jacob with Fenix Fitness and from the day we met him in our introductory session he was a positive, uplifting, and extremely knowledgeable person in fitness. I’m newer to the fitness than my husband but Jacob made sure to break down our training into first learning the seven basic movements the human body can perform: Pull, Push, Squat, Lunge, Hinge, Rotation and Gait. He then started perfecting our form for basic workouts and helped us incorporate healthy routines into our diet by tracking our foods. As each week progressed, the intensity of the workouts increased based on how well we did with our form in the previous sessions. He is meticulous in detail to make sure you do not get injured and get the maximum benefit from each and every exercise you perform. We also have very busy lives with work and family. Jacob is very flexible to make sure the sessions are concise and fit your weekly schedule.If you’re looking for someone knowledgeable, attentive, and motivational then Jacob is your guy!

I struggled with form my entire life and eventually gave up on lifting altogether due to repeated injuries. That was until I signed up for Jacob’s In-Home personal training. Jacob was able to teach me correct lifting form and I have been steadily getting stronger and stronger. Jacob has a wealth of knowledge and was able to tailor my workout program around my goals/needs. I would personally recommend him to anyone. If you are on the fence about signing up for his program, don’t think twice, it’s totally worth it.
