We don't get to come here very often, but we always enjoy the large variety of climbing options here for anybody, from beginners to experts! There are typically around 6 auto belays with 2-3 paths of varying difficulty climbs, and many belay climbs that need a partner, but in order to climb these you have to be belay certified. There is also a HUGE bouldering selection to choose from with varying difficulties, along with a gym, yoga room, and a climbing wall to practice your grip strength. This indoor climbing facility has it all, including rentals for gear, and a shop for all your climbing necessities. All staff are always very friendly, and I would highly recommend trying out this climbing location!

The space itself is fantastic, with plenty of options for all climbing levels. There is a good variety of bouldering, belay, auto-belay, lead climbing, training rooms, kids climbing area, etc. The trial period price ($45/unlimited climbing and equipment rental for two weeks) is competitive. One star comes off because the staff is generally a bit disorganized, and you can end up waiting around if you don't stay on top of them for xyz request. That said, climbing at the gym is overall a nice experience, and I would recommend that you try it out.

I have been rock climbing for a little over a year now and can say Threshold is definitely one of the best gyms to go to. They have a good variety of routes to climb as well as a good range of grades for any sort of climbing you're into. It's a great way to stay in shape and meet new people which I love, I highly recommend coming and checking them out

David was awesome in the top rope class. When someone enjoys what they do it makes a huge difference. David was fun and extremely knowledgeable. Devin was great as well on the rope rope certification. All crew were great. Gym was great. Will definitely be back!

I think this gym might have ruined me, in a good way…Here’s the problem, I had a lot of fun. I don’t live here and when I return home I’m afraid my gym won’t have walls so tall and so many bouldering options. Threshold really set my expectations high. The facility is very nice. The employees were helpful, encouraging, and provided great explanations and tips.On my second visit we went as a group of 12 and the gym had plenty of space to accommodate all of us along with their regular members. The two week membership is such a great deal and a perfect opportunity to try climbing. It’s just enough time to gauge your interest in the sport and gives you time to shop for equipment if you decide to continue your membership. Take advantage of it! Go twice in the two weeks and you’re already getting a deal.

My daughter (only 8 yrs) took some beginner climbing lessons here. The staff was friendly and helpful. They have a combination of auto-belay runs and belay-assisted runs (not sure if I'm using the right terminology, this is a new world for me). Since it was just her she was limited to the auto-belay tracks, which tend to be in use most of the time. We also always went around the 4pm timeframe, which must be their primary time to redo the courses, so there was usually equipment and ropes blocking off some of the areas. This did mean there were few options for her to climb the last couple times we went. But if you are more experienced or have someone that can belay you, your options are expanded tremendously as there are a lot more runs without the auto-belay. It's definitely a cool facility if you go beyond very beginner and can go in regularly. My older daughter went once for fun and the staff too time to explain how to use all the equipment and climb without taking a class, which was really great. They also have a free climb area they had lots of fun on!

Came to try out the gym and we had a blast! The team members were so nice and made sure we comfortable with everything before we got to climbing on our own. Definitely looking into a membership for this gym.

This place is awesome! The staff is so friendly and helpful. We recently took the Top Rope class, ours was taught by Devin and we tested with Justin. Both were super helpful, patient, and did an excellent job instructing us. They definitely focus on safety and encourage fun.For now I do a day pass when I go and my son has a punch card. I’m considering the full membership which offers yoga classes and gym access. You can rent the gear you need if you don’t have your own yet. The facility is clean, very well maintained, and overall just a super fun and friendly vibe. 🧗

My son has been there once before and wanted to go again on his Birthday with his friend. They had a blast! The staff was so nice, friendly and professional. The yoga instructor gave the boys some tips and they put them to use right away. So kind of the instructor. The place looks kept up and clean. My son would really like to go more often. He doesn't get overly excited about things so him liking this as he did warmed my heart, therefore, I will be looking into a membership for him.

Love this place. It’s easy to find. It’s located just south of the Kilpatrick Turnpike on memorial between MacArthur and Rockwell. It’s just behind Hideaway pizza. Very clean. They have all equipment needed to purchase or rent. Training sessions that support technique in bouldering or learning to top/lead rope. In short good for all skill sets. They also have auto belays for some of the routes if you’re unable to visit with a friend. I typically go for the occasional climb but I know they have climbing leagues. Definitely recommend.
