I’ve been training in this gym since it became a gym. The newest ownership team has really invested some time and money into the facility. Anthony has a real vision for what he’s developing and Preston is incredible with his follow through and work ethic. 5 stars!

I love the vibe in this place. Been going here for about 6 months. Aside from the stair stepper, I’ve never had to wait for a piece of equipment. The owner is really cool and he is constantly updating the equipment. Seriously. This place is a hidden gem 👌🏻 …

I signed up recently to this gym - and WOW! I'm incredibly impressed. I had always driven by the gym and thought nothing of it, but since they are hosting my next meet, I wanted to give them a shot. First impression: This gym is a lot bigger than you would think. But the real star is the ambiance. The new owner is clearly in love with the idea of making this gym a powerlifting gym, it shows very clearly with the way the gym is looking and just from speaking to him. Incredibly high quality gear, calibrated plates, niche equipment (Kabuki Transformer Bar and Kabuki Buffalo bar, those two alone are a rarity).Definitely give this gym a shot, price is completely reasonable for what you're getting in here.

When I first started working out at the Gym Downtown, I was really unimpressed with the facility. It was run down with dilapidated equipment. The floor was about as level and stable as a bouncy house’s.But recently the gym was purchased by Anthony who has done nothing but make this gym SO MUCH BETTER. New equipment, addressing the floor issues, and updating the padding on existing equipment are just a few of the GOOD things going on there.Anthony really seems to get it. Preston is the primary front desk rep. And if he isn’t the day to day manager, he should be. The guy is a working machine. He’s always cleaning, fixing, or vacuuming something.I started working out there because my personal trainer, Jason Kasheta, relocated there. And the thing I really appreciate is they treat me like I’m paying them directly. The other staff people are nice enough but Anthony and Preston are the heart of that operation. One of the best things is that the gym has dedicated parking; unheard of for a downtown facility.I’m grateful that the Gym Downtown is such an integral part of my fitness journey!

I noticed a lot of the machines seems to be outdated, rates are higher than la fitness and crunch and the person that was in the front desk seems to be less than enthusiastic to show me around. The only thing I like about the place is that it's not as super busy as crunch.

Nice downtown gym on the corner of Robinson and Magnolia. This neighborhood staple has free weights, all the machines you’d want, and even a snack bar!

$35 to sign up. $37 to enter the building.. total of about $70.. Are you crazy?. Hilton hotel charges half of that with everything included.
