AmeriKick Martial Arts Overland Park

We are beyond grateful for our sons opportunity to become one of the elite Amerikick students who earned his black belt from the Amerikick program and Grand Master Bob Leiker. We live in Minnesota and have made it a priority to have our son train through the best instructors only available at this school. We live 400 miles away and often comment about how lucky families are that live as close as they do to this dojo and have this quality of instruction at their disposal, in person, every day. If you are considering karate for your child this is the only dojo for you. The opportunities that have opened for our son in Sport Karate due to the level of training that he has received at this dojo is incomparable. His commitment, focus, and work ethic will follow him through life and are forming the success’s that are sure to follow and that is absolutely priceless.

Our daughter started here in December of 2020 and has been loving it since day one. It has given her confidence and an opportunity to build on social skills in a setting other than school and school sports. We love the individual approach and she loves learning new skills and earning new stripes on her belt. It is very clean, they are great communicators and I appreciate their thoughtfulness and approach this last year with all the changes required for student, staff and parent safety.Highly recommend Amerikick!

I can't say enough great things about this business. My daughter had taken classes for several years at another martial arts school. Having seen the outstanding students this school produced we decided to give it a try. The experience has been outstanding! The school is clean and very well maintained, the curriculum is well defined, the instructors are all highly qualified and engaged, and the resources available through the app really help students stay motivated and practice on their own. AmeriKick is the best around!

The best place for anyone with kids who have a focusing problem and following directions. My son started a month ago and have seen a lot of improvement. Instructors are very nice and patient. My son loves to go to class, and always wants to show everyone his new moves. Thank you Amerikick!

My son was in another program before we found Amerikick and it was not a good experience. He did not want to go and he was not learning anything. I was upfront about this when he started here and it has been a 100% better experience! He has learn so much and looks forward to going to every class. All of the instructors are great with him. I absolutely recommend this program for anyone, any age or skill level.

Amerikick and the instructors are amazing! Decades of experience and world class leadership. I've taken classes from them for decades and my son and daughter have been training with them for 8-10 years, and most recently remote via zoom. The remote classes have been a lifesaver for us. They've been our PE classes during Covid when schools aren't in session, and have kept the kids on track physically and mentally. So many good lessons are taught, way beyond fitness and self defense. Highly recommend them!

Both my daughters of 7 and 9 started 3 years ago. They enjoyed it so much that a year later I joined myself. After 2 years I can honestly say it has been the best thing for our family. Me and my daughters get a great bonding experience. My daughters also learn goal setting and responsibilities. The Sensei's at Amerikick are very professional from the little 3 year old tiny tigers to the adult classes. Some of the classes get big and are really exciting to be in and on other days the classes are small with more of one on one coaching experience to improve yourself. If you or, you would like your child, to get some exercise and learn important life lessons along the way as well I would highly recommend Amerikick and the World Championship Class Sensei's they have.

01/2021 Our son has been a student at AmeriKick for almost 5 years (starting at age 3.25). He began as a shy introvert, and is now about to turn 8 and compete in yet another tournament with confidence. The skills gained from this proper martial arts training translate to all facets of his life. The Sensei at AmeriKick are all accomplished athletes (though they are too modest to mention it!), and are gifted at teaching all ages and skill levels. We highly recommend!

AmeriKick Martial Arts has been the best investment for our son. They have world class instructors and offer numerous classes and programs for him to participate in. The staff goes over and beyond to teach the kids many elements of martial arts but, just as important, life skills to bring home with them. AmeriKick OP takes a personal interest in all of the kids and encourages them throughout their martial art journey. The staff adheres to cleanliness regulations with an impeccably clean school. Outside of the martial arts, they also provide fantastic programs like birthday parties, laser tag night and more. We've participated in both the in person classes as well as the online classes. Whichever works best for your family, AmeriKick has a option for you. I highly recommend AmeriKick OP it's a journey that you will never regret for yourself or for your kids.

My daughter has worked with the Amerikick Team for about four years now. They focus not only on karate skills, but life skills. She has achieved so much as an athlete but what I am most grateful for is how much she has grown in confidence. Her teachers and other coaches comment how disciplined and confident she is and that is something that will stay with her for life.
