AmeriKick Martial Arts Overland Park

Both my daughters of 7 and 9 started 3 years ago. They enjoyed it so much that a year later I joined myself. After 2 years I can honestly say it has been the best thing for our family. Me and my daughters get a great bonding experience. My daughters also learn goal setting and responsibilities. The Sensei's at Amerikick are very professional from the little 3 year old tiny tigers to the adult classes. Some of the classes get big and are really exciting to be in and on other days the classes are small with more of one on one coaching experience to improve yourself. If you or, you would like your child, to get some exercise and learn important life lessons along the way as well I would highly recommend Amerikick and the World Championship Class Sensei's they have.

01/2021 Our son has been a student at AmeriKick for almost 5 years (starting at age 3.25). He began as a shy introvert, and is now about to turn 8 and compete in yet another tournament with confidence. The skills gained from this proper martial arts training translate to all facets of his life. The Sensei at AmeriKick are all accomplished athletes (though they are too modest to mention it!), and are gifted at teaching all ages and skill levels. We highly recommend!

AmeriKick Martial Arts has been the best investment for our son. They have world class instructors and offer numerous classes and programs for him to participate in. The staff goes over and beyond to teach the kids many elements of martial arts but, just as important, life skills to bring home with them. AmeriKick OP takes a personal interest in all of the kids and encourages them throughout their martial art journey. The staff adheres to cleanliness regulations with an impeccably clean school. Outside of the martial arts, they also provide fantastic programs like birthday parties, laser tag night and more. We've participated in both the in person classes as well as the online classes. Whichever works best for your family, AmeriKick has a option for you. I highly recommend AmeriKick OP it's a journey that you will never regret for yourself or for your kids.

My daughter has worked with the Amerikick Team for about four years now. They focus not only on karate skills, but life skills. She has achieved so much as an athlete but what I am most grateful for is how much she has grown in confidence. Her teachers and other coaches comment how disciplined and confident she is and that is something that will stay with her for life.

The best place for anyone with kids who have a focusing problem and following directions. My son started a month ago and have seen a lot of improvement. Instructors are very nice and patient. My son loves to go to class, and always wants to show everyone his new moves. Thank you Amerikick!

Amerikick is my home away from home. I have been training with them since 2013, both online and in person. The facility is always clean and professional unlike a lot of other schools I’ve been in through the years. As an adult I look for the classes to have a heavier fitness focus as well as the knowledge of the martial arts I am learning and Amerikick covers all of it. They have a great team of instructors as well as a strong community of black belts that make the experience more like a family affair. I travel thousands of miles studying martial arts and have learned under some impressive instructors throughout my career but the most world class would have to be here at Amerikick Overland Park. I highly recommend them for anyone from ages 3 to 85.

We have had an excellent experience with AmeriKick in Overland Park. Today Sensi Henry, from today’s class, sent a personalized video to let our son know he was doing a great job and that he is glad to have him as a new student. My son has been attending AmeriKick for a couple years now and it has been so beneficial for him and he loves it. He has learned so many new skills, increased his focus and confidence and made new friends. The staff is very supportive of him and our family. I highly recommend!

My son is 6 years old and he has been attending classes for almost a year. He's still exited about classes every week! He's improved on fitness, responsibility, respect, and attitude. After attending his first tournament, he's even more interested in keeping up with his practice. Overall we're having a great experience with AmeriKick.

All of the senseis here are fantastic with children, they have so much patience with the little ones. We have been attending for just a little while and I can already see vast improvements with my sons attention, balance, coordination, and control. When we started my son couldn't balance on one leg for any length of time, he would always fall over (it was adorable to watch him try though). Now he can balance on one foot for three seconds and give a good kick. He is so proud of his achievements every week and loves to show off his new stripe that he earned in class. I highly recommend Amerikick Overland park to anyone wanting to add an activity to their child's routine.
