I started training on the Legacy Martial Arts Family Fitness Center program over a year ago. I moved to California and it took me around 4-5 months to find a place that I truly love. I have been studying and training martial arts for over 10 years and I must say that this is one of the best programs in the county.Some of the things I look for in a good martial arts program is commitment, integrity, family oriented, high intensity training, respect and can also have instructors that are willing to help teach and have the patience to instruct not only adults but children. The family environment in the studio you can feel it from the moment you walk in the studio, they take you in as family.The instructors at Legacy Martial Arts are all well rounded martial artists. They work with your fundamentals so you can have a great base to keep learning more complicated things. They take your needs and goals to make you the best version of yourself you can be. The instructors are State Champions, District Champions and World Champions ranging from Forms to Sparring. They take your needs whether it is becoming healthier, competitive taekwondo, learning self-defense or just wanting to do something different and learn. Once they know what you are looking for they focus on making you the type of person in the martial arts world you want to become. With your hard work, will come great results, they will push to get the best out of you. They are professionals in what they do and it shows in every action and class they perform. They are known in the county and around the entire USA for their completeness, way of teaching and structured program with in the studio.Seeing the Tiny Tigers program (children) you can see how creativity meets morals. By mixing fun active learning and respect they teach the children about self-control, integrity, honor, commitment and leadership. The instructors also don’t stop in teaching your kids about martial arts but how to be a successful leader. They help your child gain more confidence and in a short amount of time that develops into creating leaders, on and off the studio. By implementing creative thinking the instructors also have a system in place to make sure that your child will also try and get better grades in school, be more respectful to other people and have self-control in their actions.The adult program always has more than twenty adults. Normally the adult classes in other studios I have been in are very low. Some student’s parents start out bringing their kids and quickly want to join the training themselves. This is the type of family environment that all the instructors bring to this studio. The adults all encourage each other to strive for a better future on and off the studio. One day your training together and the other you are in a gathering having fun and talking about goals, the future and even your professional careers.As a martial arts competitor for Legacy Martial Arts studio I have learned that if you have a goal and you are willing to put in the work the instructors will take you to that level. They will push you in ways you never thought you could reach, finding out that the barriers you use to put yourself, get taken down with dedication and commitment. The instructors will push you so that you can accomplish your goals and aspirations in your martial arts carrier.The facilities are top notch. It is a big space that has everything you need. The instructors keep it tidy and clean all the time. There is a spectator section at the entrance of the studio were parents or people can come look at the class before joining. The equipment used in training is also always clean and up to date.I would refer this place to anyone that is curious about martial arts or wants to keep going on their journey to becoming a better martial artist and person. Between the environment the studio provides and the type of training they provide there is no doubt in my mind if you try it you will understand what I am saying.
