By far this is the bESt deal round ,This is my favorite gym , The staff is very friendly and they keep the place clean . I definately recCOmend this gym if you want the bESt value ,I am currenly on the regular membership but since they opened up another Planet in Vta Ijust might have to upgrade to the Black Card FOshizzle .

This is completely unreal, unprofessional, and down right unacceptable. I pay to be a black card member and expect to be able to use everything as told and this includes the showers. Not only did one break onto another ember the other day, the other showers have no pressure or hot water. Literally went from a nice shower to an ice bath causing my body to go into shock. This needs to be fixed immediately

I loved planet fitness because they’re very concern about to maintain the gym clean and neat and people to go there also trying their best to maintain courtesy cleaning machines after used!

"I've been a member of Planet Fitness for over 2 months, and I can confidently say that it's been a fantastic experience. The gym offers a clean and comfortable environment with a wide range of modern equipment suitable for all fitness levels. What sets Planet Fitness apart is its non-intimidating atmosphere the "Lunk Alarm policy" ensures a judgment-free zone where everyone can focus on their workouts without feeling self conscious ( even though I can be a lunk at times) The staff is friendly and always ready to assist, creating a welcoming environment. Moreover, the affordability of the membership is a huge plus. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned gym-goer, Planet Fitness provides a convenient and inclusive place to achieve your fitness goals. They also have tanning booths and water massage tables which is a nice touch.

Apparently people with bolt cutters can go into the locker rooms & steal from guests. They cut the lock off my locker on 08/02/2023 and took my wallet & car keys. Management said there's not much they can do (they could hire staff to watch the locker room). They could easily investigate but would rather let someone else handle it. They need to step up their their security.

Heres my honest take on this Gym, Ive been going for about 6 months now and the staff are always quick to give you a good welcome and attentive if you have any questions. It seems to me that the staff do rounds every hour or so to ensure the machines and facilities are clean and the sanitizing equipment is stocked which I appreciate immensely. The club just installed new cardio equipment which are amazing, work perfectly, and are always clean. Ive never had a problem finding an open CARDIO machine (treadmill, elliptical, bikes, rowing) however at peak times the treadmills can get quite crowded especially because they are close by one another. When it comes to resistance machines they have always been clean and for the most part work fine, my only complaint is that since the gym is relatively small theres a limited amount of these resistance machines so theres usually always one free but from time to time you can find yourself waiting for an available machine to open up (this is especially bad if a machine is broken since there are only 1-2 of each machine). As for the back of the gym where all the weights, bench presses, and cable machines are; I find that its almost always packed save for the weekends or during the early mornings. Its no problem for me now however it was a pretty big barrier for me when I first came to PF just because I was intimidated to claim a spot in an already crowded area. However once you look past it being crowded its actually a very well equipped area, theres almost always free weights available and usually if the area is especially packed ill just take a pair of dumbbells to a more open area (Just remember to always put your dumbbells back) For the most part though I dont have too much trouble finding available benches/available cable machines/ weights racks to do my exercises in unless I go at peak peak times (4pm-8pm). For the locker rooms, I can only speak for the mens; despite the club being relatively small the locker rooms dont feel small at all, theres ample room at the lockers and ive never had a problem finding free stalls or showers. PF is a great place to get a membership and I would say is definitely worth the 10 bucks a month, the contract kind of sucks but its to expected with such a low monthly fee. For anyone whos considering joining I say do it, its been the best investment Ive made in myself and I have nothing but a positive experience here.

This place is truly a no judgement zone and I love that they are so inexpensive it's almost impossible to not be able to afford a membership. Tanning booths are wonderful especially on a good day, the exercise machines are always clean. The staff is always positive, kind, and treats every customer the same regardless of economic class. At other gyms I was made to feel uncomfortable and like I didn't belong because I live out of my vehicle and going to the gym is not just about working out for me (which I diligently work out), but it's also about having a place I can shower and keep up with my personal hygiene so that I can apply for jobs, go on interviews, and fit in with my community. I appreciate planet fitness and the staff so much! Thank you for what you offer and have given me.

Gym no problem but I can't even go to the gym for a hour and come back with a citation on my car or my car would be towed bc it's late they think every car is staying over night the gym needs to give out a parking permit or something so people cars won't get taken away and I park right in the front so it's not the area I parkYou guys also need to tell the security company to stop giv8ng people this violations tickets I went to the gym at 2am came come put a hour later parked in the front and I have this.

It's my 3rd PF location visit. I usually go to the Burbank location and once went to the Lancaster location.Oxnard is the smallest of them. There are​ at least 2 machines that they don't have that the other two have and only 2 stair machines (4 at Lancaster and 6 at Burbank).Locker room is way smaller but everything seems clean and well maintained.The black card spa has 2 massage chairs, two hydro beds, three tanning booths and one body enhancement booth.I don't know how busy it usually gets here but at the time I was there (3am) there were 3 or 4 people working out. Much less than I'm used to see at Burbank.What bothered me most is that none of the other members bothered to wipe down the equipment after they're​ done. Also, I haven't noticed any signs asking to do so.They left the machines wet with sweat and moved on.
