We started off with the 2 week trial almost as soon as schools closed in March or April. My son loves it and looks forward to his karate lessons every week. There's no looking back!

Karate has been so good for my daughter who really had learning challenges. She really blossomed over the years because all the Sensei's at this studio took the time to understand and know who she is and how she learns. They gave her the confidence she needed and pushed her where they knew she was capable of achieving more. My daughter started when she was 6 years old and now she is 14 and on her second level of Junior black belt. It has bees such a joy to see how she has grown over the years. Now, my son, who has been motivated and inspired by watching his big sister over the year, started when he was 6 as well and now he is 10 and will achieve the same goals. As competitive as this sport can be, I only see all the kids lifting each other up and encouraging each other, especially on fight night. It's so awesome to see.Thank you, to all the Sensei's for raising my beautiful kids with discipline, love and strength. We love our karate family!

This place is not only a kenpo studio, but a family and a community. My daughter has attended kenpo for the past 8 years and has worked her way up from a white belt to an almost black belt. She has become a teacher here to pass on the skills that she has learned over the years to new students. The sensei's are all amazing and supportive of not only learning the skills at the kenpo studio but also with outside activities including strong focus on academics. The students learn dedication, motivation, and determination through this awesome environment. The sensei's even support the students with outside activities by attending these activities. For example, the sensei has attended all my daughter's musicals. I highly recommend this kenpo studio for anyone and everyone young or older.

I enrolled my daughter Aubrey because I wanted her to come out of that she’ll she was hiding in. She was very quiet, shy and an introvert. I enrolled her May 2016 ...almost a year later she is a completely different child. She is more confident, disciplined and won’t stop talking. I highly recommend this place. Staff and instructors are on of a kind!

My kids have been in the program for almost 3 years now and it has been amazing watching them grow their karate skills and develop an attitude of respect, discipline, and self-confidence. This place is more than just a karate studio and after school program, it's a well rounded environment that builds character, friendships, and positive memories for your children and family.

It is my opinion that Jeff Speakman Kenpo 5.0 Pasadena is the most complete martial arts school in the San Gabriel Valley. The three things that impress me are:1) the detailed focus on the practical self-defense aspects of the art2) the close attention to details the instructors have and their commitment to bringing out the best in each student3) the instructors creating a learning environment that encourages students to be fully engaged while having fun at the same timeWe have experienced other karate schools but I can say without a doubt that students earn the belt they wear at Jeff Speakman Kenpo 5.0 Pasadena.
