They have been charging you since Sept 1st. Beware. Everyone look at your retro billing accounts. You were charged since September 1st and they failed to acknowledge that they did not tell you that they were open. Most of the equipment was broken for months. The bathroom needs to be clean daily. Sorry but please people do your research before purchasing a membership.

The worst customer service ever. I regret going to this gym. I moved out of New Jersey it has been a year now. I have been calling their front desk for a year to help meCancel my subscription and nobody EVER picks up the phone. I can see the ABC retrofitness charging me the monthly fees and the yearly payments on my credit card. When I asked them to cancel my subscription they are saying you have toContact the club. How am I suppose to cancel the subscription from a different state , when nobody picks up the phone or responds back to your email????

The gym is open again and is adhering to NJ guidelines. Masks are mandatory as well as a temperature check at the door. There is also a form to sign asking 3 questions about Covid-19. The staff has been informative and welcoming. I haven't waited to go in as of yet, but I would recommend calling ahead to see if the gym is at capacity if you choose a peak time to go. Overall the gym is cleaner than ever and there are plenty of sanitizer spray and hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the gym

I have not been to this gym , I was looking forward to go and check it out considering its so close to my home . But after reading all the negative reviews and even worse the replies are so poorly. It shows very little care . Thank god for the real honest reviews .

I wish I could give them zero starts. The gym opened on 1st Sept 2020 after COVID-19 closure. Based on what the receptionist told me is that they gave people option till 14th Sept to cancel their subscription is they wanted to. Now, I (and my friends + I believe many others) did not receive a communication from the Gym about this. I was surprised to see my credit card got charged on the 18th Of Sept with the monthly feed. With the current pandemic situation, I cannot take this risk to go to the Gym anyways and had to cancel my membership. I called them in July and Aug, they did not answer my call because the Gym was closed. They re-opened, did not send any emails, post cards and started charging as if nothing happened. I cancelled my membership afterwards and they charged me for one more month.The receptionist I spoke to, absolutely Non-Cooperative. She simply denies to extend any help.

I’ve been going to this gym for about a year now. I haven’t received any bad experience from this gym but, The child care room needs cleaning. It’s not sanitize, floors are extremely dirty, my child’s hands and pants were always pitch black after being there. The Children’s room needs a lighter wall color and needs to be sanitized especially knowing that children in general carry the most germs 😖

I like the friendly atmosphere of retro gym. I worked with one of their trainers, trainer D. He was a fantastic coach. He tailored my program to fit my needs and was well aware of my limitations. I also like the point system I feel like not only am I working to become healthy and fit but I’m also working towards a prize of my choice when I save the points up!
