The hot yoga mixtape class is great if you already have a strong hot yoga practice. Would not recommend to first time visitors because there is limited verbal instruction and it will be hard to follow. The Yin Yoga and Slow Burn non-heated classes are my favorites, especially when led by instructor Brittany Carroll, who has a gentle but focused approach. Her classes are meditative, but challenging and she’s a warm and welcoming instructor. Only 4 stars because the hot yoga classes on weekdays are at inconvenient times. 5pm is a tough time to make if you work regular business hours and 7pm feels too late (for me) to be vigorously exercising.

Went to “original hot yoga” class and I have to say it was the least original hot yoga I have ever done. It was not a flow, we just held poses for 10 seconds then moved on to another random pose that did not connect. We also did mini savasanas in between each pose, which I really did not like made me feel like I was going to pass out at the beginning of each pose switching from laying done back up to a pose was very weird. Not sure who’s class this was, or if this is the style of all classses, but it was not for me.

I love the core fire conditioning classes. After taking these classes consistently I’ve learned how to engage my core while doing exercises. It’s improved my overall strength and back pain.

I started attending Rhode Island Hot Yoga in the fall of 2022, I almost instantly was hooked. The sense of community, no judgment, and all different age groups, skill levels, and backgrounds made me feel at home and welcomed. I’m down 30lbs in just over 4 months and have never felt healthier. I highly recommend RI hot yoga!

Rhode Island hot yoga is a magnificent place that has given me the space to transform my life!! I love hot yoga, yin yoga, hips and back yoga, core fire classes, and the infrared sauna!! All of the teachers are amazing and the best part of the studio is that all are welcome exactly as you are. There is always a space in the hot room waiting for you and all you have to do is breathe! Everything else is optional!

What don't I love about RIHY? Nothing. I love it all! They offer yin yoga, original hot yoga, yoga for hips and back and core fire conditioning classes (for beginners, intermediate, with/out weights and kettlebell classes). There is something for everyone. The studios are super clean. The instructors are amazing. The spa (at the Providence location) is very relaxing. I highly recommend it.

Tried their infrared sauna with a friend and it was toooo good! I was really sore before coming in from workouts and immediately after I feel a difference. I will say the location is a bit hard to find but Liz at the front desk was very helpful with directions so I would arrive early enough if it’s your first time and call ahead to know exactly where they are located. Great experience overall, definitely plan on trying their other services and classes.

The Core Fire Conditioning class is wonderful! The music is great and I love the energy of the instructors. It’s always a blast coming to this class! It’s a fun way to get a workout in and the hot room always leaves my skin glowing afterwards. 11/10 would recommend!

I’ve taken hot yoga and yin yoga here for many years and am continuously impressed by Juliana’s (owner) creativity, welcoming attitude, and communication. All the instructors are so kind and helpful. Lately I’ve only had time to attend Sunny’s 7pm class and I love her clear teaching style. Charlene’s yin class is refreshing. Allyson and Allison are also amazing. You can’t go wrong with any of the classes and instructors at RIHY. Photo of ladies changing room, so clean and spacious.
