Love the Yoga Projekt! I’ve taken Kettle Bell, Barre, Iron Yoga and Hot Vinyasa - I was extremely pleased with each class. The instructors are amazing. All of the classes I’ve taken have been such a great workout. The new space is beautiful. Great community feeling and full of positive energy!

Wonderful studio!! The owner is always super nice! Classes are challenging but adaptable to any skill level! I try to go once a week and hate when my schedule won’t allow it.

My girlfriend and I attended the hot Vinyasa class and had an incredible experience. Our instructor was fantastic and she provided plenty of variations of the poses so I could push myself as much or as little as I liked. Make sure to bring a towel! We will definitely be back.

A friend from out of town was visiting this weekend and wanted to do a barre class, so we signed up for one at the Yoga Project. I didn't know they had moved from Junction City as I've never been to a class there, so I had to Google the address after I drove all over looking for the studio. Once we got to the location where google directed us, there were no signs anywhere for the Yoga Project - not even a temporary banner, realtor sign, nothing. I called the number in my confirmation email from the studio and it was no longer in service. There was construction all over the place and we had to walk up a construction staircase and through an unfinished unit before stumbling across the studio by chance. We walked in a few minutes late to the class already in progress, but the instructor did not greet us or acknowledge us in any way, so we were scrambling looking for hand weights and other equipment everyone else had. I noticed that there were no ceiling fans and the temperature in the studio was VERY WARM, almost like there was no air conditioning on AT ALL? I specifically read online that this class was NOT heated, but it appeared to be quite heated or they just didn't have the air on at all. Which is odd when it was projected to be 95 degrees outside that day with heat index warnings in the 100s. It became quite uncomfortable in the studio as the class went on. The instructor was decent, but her cuing was very soft spoken and hard to hear with the music. I can't say from this experience I would ever be back, especially considering the price point. Just overall not a great first impression.

I was in from Chicago where I actively practice yoga and wanted to try a yoga studio here. I knew the Yoga Projeckt had recently moved so I left early to make sure I could find it. It was simple to find off North Prospect Road in Heritage Square on the second floor. The owner/instructor was incredibly friendly. Her class Vinyasa hot was great - challenging yet able to follow with her clear instructions and demonstrations. The space is lovely and peaceful. Exactly what I needed. I will definitely come here again anytime I visit. Highly recommended!

I have attended four classes at The Yoga Projekt and am overall very satisfied with my experiences. I travel to Peoria weekly for work and had been looking for a yoga studio for quite a while before finding The Yoga Projekt. I attend Monday nights and usually have Aaron as an instructor. He is knowledgeable and leads the class very well, independent of skill level. He provides many opportunities to practice according to your skill level. I like that he shows the 'basic' or easiest pose/progression, but also demonstrates more advanced methods so that you know what you are working towards. He also shares some of his own experiences which make his impressive skill seem attainable (albeit with years of practice).

Great experience as a beginner. The facility is new and contemporary. Hot yoga instructor was very nice with instructions as I had little prior experience.
